Great product but horrible to use
Bought the putty to put a couple of recycled caravan windows into my barn. Putty is very adhesive and stretchy which makes it good at its job (keeping water out) by a horrible to use. That said I'd use it again

Easy to work with
I put this in the fridge overnight before using it, as I've heard that butyl can go gooey in the heat.This is the first time I've used the stuff - similar to double-side tape,it was very easy to apply and gave an instant grab (you only really get one opportunity to stick it, so be ready and be accurate).I used it for sticking the edges of an EPDM rubber roof membrane to OSB board and it worked a treat.I simply unrolled the tape straight from the roll onto the OSB, then tore/snapped it off when I'd applied enough. I then removed the backing tape and pulled the EPDM on to the exposed butyl. Very simple really - not rocket science by any means and anybody with common sense and reasonable coordination should have no problem using it.

Provides a great seal
Thick enough to provide a good seal on a slightly curved surface (narrowboat roof).Really sticky so measure carefully and place seal accurately.Great product

Super sticky and what its for!
Use for my car exterior to keep water out of spots i dont want! Super sticky stuff and definitely works well. So far have used it for my wing on my frs and for the support brackets for my wing on my wrx sti. Works great! Still trying to figure out how to cut the excess off without cutting my car paint!
