One of the most entertaining series I've ever come across!
If you love Alice in Wonderland, this is going to right up your alley. This is a modern Alice with an awesome twist. After the first book in the series I was hooked ... and it just keeps getting better with every book. Unexpected twists & turns, incredibly awesome characters and storylines that keep you from putting your book or Kindle down.Try it, enjoy and get hooked!

Another never ending series
I became hooked on this series. The story intrigued me. I bought six or seven of the books. Yet it never came to fruition. There were always unanswered questions. I finally decided that Jace was writing to keep me buying books and never intended to finish. I gave up and quit reading.

...
When I read the first books it was easy to get lost in them. I’d catch myself hours later still thinking about what I read; this one was a little slower and harder to read. I forced myself to finish it. It was good just dragged a little.

Can I just say that it was amazing! I love this series and I love this ...
I finished reading Checkmate (Insanity 6). Can I just say that it was amazing! I love this series and I love this book. I've come to love The Pillar and I cant wait to find out who he really is. I keep speculating at how things are gonna go and it never turns out the way I thought it would and it keeps me in suspense the whole time.

This is my favorite of the books....
For one thing it's almost a standalone. The other things I like are: a.) The pillar b.) Alice is a more active character...less of a reactive character. This is true even when she doesn't know what's going on. c.) The pillar. d.) The 'win' for Alice is a biggie. e.) The pillar.

Best so Far
Many questions are answered in this installment, leading to the bigger picture of who our favorite characters actually are and what their true rolls will be.

Excellent addition...cannot wait for the next book in the series.
Having just finished "Checkmate" (Book 6), I am very eagerly awaiting "Family" (Book 7). Despite some reallybad editing which the author is very much aware of, I still had a really hard time putting Checkmate downdespite sitting in a hospital caring for my wife. It was a pleasant and much needed distraction.... My onlyregret is that I'm having to wait for the next book. The series just keeps getting better and better.I find these stories increasingly dark, ever doubting the sanity if both the characters and the reader, andconsequentially the author. Characters that have both elements of white and black where the most evil haveredeeming qualities and the purest of heroes has thoroughly dark sides...much like life, there is more greythan pure colors.Honestly, I don't understand why this series keeps appears classified as "young adult".

why can't better proof reading catch this nonsense
So many errors, why can't better proof reading catch this nonsense, which so distracts from reading a book like this. At one point even the protagonists names were confused, which meant I head to go back and read it again to make sense of it. Why don't authors and editors realise how distracting and annoying this avoidable nonsense is? OK, so the book was a few days late, but really, this is inexcusable. As to the story itself, I always felt with the previous books that you could just pick them up and read them and enjoy them, but this one needed so much back-story to make and sense from it. Characters and story lines were mentioned than not played out or explored further on woven into the story. I get the impression that there could have been so much more, but for whatever reason we ended up with a fairly short book that was OK but could have been outstanding if it was not written to a deadline but allowed to develop more fully.I have been completely entranced by this series, but I am not signing up for the next one, I can't take the shoddy editing and I have no enthusiasm for the story any more. It is becoming both too transparent I plot and too obscure in irrelevant references. Pity, this series was the most refreshing fiction I had read in years.

Love it - can't wait for more.
I have read all the books so far and absolutely loved them. Yes, it has its flaws - like the odd typo but I think that is more down to the proof reading than Cameron's writing. The plots are always twisted and enjoyable with loads of threads which leaves you guessing right up until the end.You will probably need to have read the others before reading this one though - because they more or less follow on and there are constant references to the other books in there - each book is a complete story but reading the others will not only help but be a lot of fun too!

Disappointed
Have loved every book in this series so far and pre-ordered this one so I'd have it delivered to my kindle as soon as it was released. It's obvious this book h saga s been rushed and not proof read. The grammar and spelling are so terrible that it took all enjoyment away, I was constantly having to 're-read sentences to make sense of them. The story itself is also not on par with the rest of the series, rather dull in my opinion. As I've read this series from the beginning I probably will buy future releases and hope this book was a "blip" on a otherwise great series.

This book will become an obsession.
Another absolute smasher! I absolutely dare you not to like it. Every one of the Insanity series so far has consumed my entire life (and perhaps a little bit of my soul...👻) I find it hard to bring myself to do anything other than read them when a new one comes out...the dishes pile up in my sink....the washing starts to spill out of my washing basket and the lawn grows to almost waist height whilst my poor husband and children are left sitting by the wayside looking forlorn until I am finished and normal service is resumed.

An entertaining instalment
I enjoyed reading this addition to the series. I liked the story arc and the continued character development. The pace was good and it is like all the other books easy to read.
