These misters are great. Thought they might be fun to have like sort of a novelty. At the time just had them in the box because the line included would not reach the outside enclosure where they were intended to go. One hot day working outside decided to use new outdoor fan to see what happened. It helped a great deal. Then it was like the spigot it so close it would be easy to hook one of these things up. It was unbelievable the difference they made. They will cool you down. Was able to tolerate the hot sun much longer by taking misting breaks. They travel easy. Once you hook them to a fan you can take them wherever as long as you have enough water hose.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble! Connected it to am old fan while I wait for my new one. Bought 2 kits so that if I liked how the new one did with it, I could put it on my old one and run 2. Just so happens, the misters got here before the new fan. Works great on the old one!!! So I can hardly wait when the new fan gets here and I have 2 running. Dropped the temp quickly under my patio. If you sit close to it, you will get wet, but 5 feet away it just cools the air. Perfect for what I wanted!!

With our multi 100+ days in summer I wanted this for patio temperature relief. This fits the bill nicely! I have a larger floor fan so started out using all the jets… way too much water. Went down to 2 jets and only used a partial flow from the hose. MUCH BETTER. This cools down our patio very well. Water does puddle up on our cement patio. Without the puddles I would give it 5 stars. On grass this wouldn’t be an issue.

My horse was suffering from the heat and humidity so I got him this misting ring for a box fan. He had two fans but needed something to take the heat down in the barn. It works but you have to play with it to get just the right amount of mist going. Too much gets the ground wet.

I searched all the fan misting kits and this one stood out as advertising .2mm nozzles and three blocking plugs. I predicted these would throw out too much water on a Lasko 18" pedestal fan and I was right. Even with 3 nozzles pluged and a garden hose shut-off and faucet valve barely open, it throws too much water. I was able to use a piece of 1/4 hose and a plug to block 4 of the 5 nozzles. Still not to happy. I had to use my own black zip ties, as white are supplied. The castings seem good quality, and a slight pull on the nozzles keeps them from dripping. Had to loosen the nut on the 1/4 hose the garden hose fitting otherwise the hose twists while tightening, then retighten after tight to faucet. Hose is very thin. I suspect these are not .2mm nozzles and are not engraved with a 2 or any markings as shown in ad. Buyer beware.

In the Arizona desert you need misters!! This kit features 5 misting nozzles and can be secured on the blade cage of any 12" or greater fan. There are 2 spare nozzles and enough zip ties to mount the system (twice). The feature I like best is the fact that each mister can be removed from the manifold and a plug (supplied) inserted to reduce the volume of water as temps cool down, or humidity increases. It took me all of 15 minutes to install. There is a generous length of tubing which you an connect to a hose bib or hose. The nozzles create a fine-enough mist so that you feel cool without feeling like you've just taken a shower!

We are using this fan mister for our outdoor fan, to keep our chickens cool. It’s perfect for our needs!

I thought I could use this to cool the inside of a shop. However, the mist is not adjustable and it puts out more than my fan can handle. Best used outside. If your water has minerals in it, the spray tips will clog over a short period of time. Always make sure you force air through it after you turn off the water and remove the hose. This will get all water out of the tips and won't leave any droplets to dry and leave deposits.I had to step up to a larger fan and add a ball valve to the faucet, which lets me control the mist.
