These replacement blades fit well in my razor and cut my whiskers just as well as the blades that came with my razor when it was new.

These cut well but only with the original screens/gates. Otherwise you’ll just get hair pulling with the screens included in this kit.

I have a five year old Aquatec that I keep at work for days that I am running late in the morning, or have a late meeting and want a fresh shave before I go in. Lately, I noticed that it was taking longer and longer to get shaved. I found these replacements and was excited to read that they were "improved". After all, the last ones lasted five years. These are so bad, that I put the old ones back in! They are not built as well, and are no sharper than the five year old ones because now it takes even LONGER than before to shave.ALSO, they are not as comfortable, chaffing my neck.So, poorer shave, cheaper quality, and less comfortable, all for the bargain price of $20.Forget it!UPDATE! On advice from friend I put these new blades in with the older screens. MUCH BETTER! Now they work like new blades, and much more comfortable! The original screens have slots and holes, and new screens only had slots. I don't know if that's the difference, but I am now COMPLETELY SATISFIED!

Get a great shave with a new set of heads.

I last purchased these 2 years ago. When I clicked on "buy again", I was shocked to see the current price was $95. So, I looked at others on Amazon and found these at a much more reasonable price. Reviews said they were indeed genuine Philips made in the Netherlands and that IS what the box I received says (notice picture on the box shows the slot/hole style of heads). If you look at the pictures, though, you can see these new heads don't look like the old ones. Instead of having slots and holes, (picture of heads on counter) the new ones have slots only (picture of heads on shaver). The cutting area is also thinner. On the reverse, the plastic hubs of the blades on the old set were purple while these new ones are black. It makes me question whether these I just bought are "the real thing" or somewhat good imitations. I've only shaved with them twice so far, so I can't rate how well they work since it takes a week or two for the new blades and heads to "break in" and work their best. Caveat emptor!

I have only used the replacements for two shaves on my very old shaver. So far, so good. They seem to do a reasonable job, better than the old blades, and no problem (yet). I was concerned about reports of hair pulling and was going to use the old screens, but decided to give the new blades and new screens a chance. Pleasantly surprised so far. Of course, this was just my experience so far.ETA 9/19/21 - I have been using the new blades and shields for my shaves. My old shaver seems to run rather better with the new blades and shields (the old ones were like 10 years old). Looks good. Happy with this purchase.

My husband has an old shaver because he is opposed to disposing of old things with out first trying to fix them for reuse. We found these replacement heads and he is now expecting another 10 years out of his shaver.
