It is an oblong tablet measuring 0.375" at the widest and length is 0.875". Please keep in mind that there are limits to how much a tablet containing minerals can be compressed. This is why most vitamin companies do not offer very small tablets.

As far as I know no and I have used these for a while I have kidney disease I accumulate a lot of minerals that I do not process and my doctor suggested that I take these I had no problem no stomach upset as far as I know Amazon gives us only the best products. But you can research on your own just go to any of the pill identifiers they go from vitamin A to vitamin Z. I hope that I hoped you a little bit but I trust Amazon products I use quite a bit of their vitamins there calcium sea algae I purchase whey powder from them collagen powder but it is up to you to do the research if you want any other answers for me I think they were coded vegan I don't have the bottle so I couldn't look it up for you I hope this helps

Although they are suitable for kids, it might be a challenge for them to swallow it, unless you crush the tablets and mix them with juice or applesauce
