This Acrylic Gouache set has a great variety colors. I like the coverage (Opacity) and the quick drying time.I have used regular Gouache for a couple of years and wanted to try Acrylic Gouache. I will update my review after I use it more. So far I rate this close to the Holbein Acryla Gouache but at a much lower cost per 20 ml tube.

I absolutely love these paints, but it's worth noting that you should read into these before buying. gouache paints are known for their chalkiness, and these paints are made with powder pigments so they are even more textured than you might expect from other acryl gouache or traditional gouache. also note that the colors are mostly muted, so they're great convenience colors but mixing can turn out more muddy than expected.

I almost gave up on acrylic paint but decided to try this brand on a whim. I'm so glad I did. The paint is opaque like goauch but dries permanent. It's matt so no glare. The paint is buttery smooth and works well with water and acrylic mediums. Worth the investment if you want to try painting.

I have the Jet Black (true blackest black) paint from Turner and LOVE IT. I needed to try more.I wanted to try the japaneque version because of the texture. My sample has two coats with the black line test. It has pretty good coverage for one coat. I was very pleased. The dried texture is rough, almost pumice stone like. I love it! The paint blobs I made to sample from dried with depth, so if you want dimensional work it’s great, I would suggest a filler to add dimension because you’ll go through a lot of paint otherwise.I love how the labels list the fastness levels and mixing combos on each tube! This is very helpful. If you’re looking for a smoother paint, try the regular gouache colors from Turner.If you’re deciding if you should buy these let me say that you should!
