This has held up really well over the past year or so I've had it. The plates are still great, no issues, and I love that it's adjustable so I can have more pronounced hair for pictures and a more subtle wave for everyday use. Heats well, it's a little heavy, but a great value for your bucks and works fast.

Ive probably bought 100,000 items from amazon and this has been my only return! Absolute trash.. save your money and buy a bedhead waver. I thought the chi would be amazing, but my cheap one was soooo much better. I've used chi straiteners for prob 15 years, this is not it!

I am very happy with this waver. It does a very good job. You are able to select how wavy you want your hair. There are 4 choices. Chi is a very reputable company for straighteners and curling irons. I recommend this product!

I have some natural wave and frizz. I was hoping to make the wave more uniform and eliminate the frizz with this product. It did not help with frizz. Regardless of which heat setting I tried, my hair did not hold the wave for long. My hair ended up looking worse than when I let it dry naturally (at least then I have an excuse for why my hair looks bad). May work well for some hair types, but not for mine.
