Just need scissors
Very nice set of knives. I would give it 5 stars if it had scissors and a slot made for them.

Excellent set!
Bought for a gift for my wife. We really love this set -- enough that we also bought the 7" Santoku knife, too!The knives look great and feel very natural to hold, both for my wife (left handed, much smaller hands) and I (right handed, very large hands).The fact that the block has a extra (two) slots is a very nice bonus that I was hoping to find. The only very minor complaint is that the block's nice color is only on the surface, so any chips, scrapes, etc. will expose the very light wood underneath and the contrast between the wood's natural color and the stain make them show up very prominently.
