Like some reviews say, it has a loose fit to the connections. More so the LIFX male end to the extension female end. I was able to resolve this by taking a sharp xacto knife and removing the little bit of a recession the extension has. You do have to manipulate the male sides just a small bit due to the spacing of the LIFX connectors but we’re talking fractions of a millimeter. Basically just starting to plug it in at an angle and it’ll guide it in. No manual bending required.Note, I tried this with a 3M plug and it was too far of a span for the LIFX setup. 1M is about as far as it’ll let you go without a delay in motion or change in color temperature.

I purchased this, because I needed to extend my LED lights. Yes, both of them work, the quality is good, but one of the extension cables were wired wrong. Let me explain: you match the arrow on one side, and the other arrow on the other side., it should work, but you have to un-match the arrow on one side to work for LEDS to come on. They work, and it is a small flaw, but I will keep them.

Since LIFX doesn't sell extenders, I needed an extender to span under the microwave. I bought these extenders based off previous reviews about working with LIFX light strips. YES...these extenders work with LIFX but the connections are loose. No big deal because I used tape to hold the connections together and now I have nice lighting under my kitchen cabinets. I also had to cut one of the LIFX strips because it was too long. Great news...I'm still able to control the "connected" light strips with Smartthings with the extender and even after the cut!. I'm very happy with my purchase and the previous honest reviews about the loose fit...which is no big deal because a little tape worked just fine.

I had a few different light pieces that I couldn't get to work as 1 thanks to this kit I was able to set up this room the way I was hoping.

They work but are nothing special. It’s very hard to find anything for lifx strips that securely plugin. Watch your length is all.

the little male connectors are great since can connect two wires together for longer run, and don't need to worry about male/female fit to lighting.
