This bag of tools helps me be more self-sufficient. I can put on and take off my shoes and socks at will, put on blouses and jackets, lift my leg and guide it into a car or truck, and scrub my back. I can pick up things from the floor as well as lightweight items from cabinets and shelves. Those are all easy tasks for most of us, but when worn-down, arthritic knees, hips, and shoulders are added to the equation, those simple tasks become major obstacles. Another bonus is that I will probably not have to go to rehab after my next knee surgery. Going straight home is a psychological win; it means I can take care of most of my ADLs without much help. Grabber is good quality. Originally shopped for this part only then saw the other items in the kit. Glad I purchased because I’m using other items in the kit plus using for additional things like the shoe horn hook side can be multi purposed to reach higher up things past the grabber length/hook. Not sure what some of the items are used for (like the rope thing) but all pieces are solid/good quality parts (none of the components are flimsy cheap like parts).

It was kind of a shock to me when I found out that I had to have my right hip replaced. So, in an attempt to be completely ready I ordered this set. One item in particular was very helpful. When it is all screwed together in the order they were intended to be used, one end was very helpful in taking off the sock on the foot where the hip was replaced and the other end has a shoe horn to help slide my foot into a moccasin that I wear around the house. After 4 months, I've put nearly everything back in the bag that it came in except for the long device with a shoe horn on it. I still need it when I put on some new tennis shoes that I haven't had long enough to break in.

I had total knee replacement. There is lots of pain and swelling. Joints are tight; limb movement is restricted. The kit replaces a second set if hands to dress and undress. The items in the kit are well made and extremely functional.

After having hip surgery I needed some assisted devices to help me be more independent. This kit helped a lot. It comes with a reacher grabber, long handled bath loofa, sock aid, leg lifter strap, long handled shoe horn which has an assistive dressing hook attached and a carrying bag to put everything in. The reacher grabber has a feature to rotate the head if needed. It is easy to use and works well with most of my needs. The folding feature makes it easier to fit in my walker bag but it doesn't have a lock feature so it has a tendency to fold on itself at certain angles when lifting up heavier objects. Over all it's a good kit and has made it a lot easier for me to be independent but 3 weeks later the leg lift broke in half making it useless.
