Es un libro que quería por todas las técnicas que tiene de ejemplo, es muy útil y además muy ilustrativo, tiene bastantes mapas como esperaba. Cumple su función y vale la pena la compra.

Great book by a wonderful cartographer! Reads like a reference book rather than a textbook. Well written and great maps throughout!

This book is structered like a dictionary of cartography from A - Abstraction to Z - Zeitgeist, but a colour code adds also some thematic orientation to the content. The topics are presented as double pages with information text on the left and really really high quality map examples on the rigth page.This makes the book very useful for people who are already into cartography and want to look up a certain keyword. However, I would not recommend this book as a textbook for students in the beginning of their study. That'd be like trying to learn a foreign language just from reading the dictionary.
