Q: Does any one get the wrong color as it is shown on the amazon site?

Both of mine that I ordered came in the correct size

Q: Why do these get so hard? Bought brand new, was damp when i took it out of tube... kept it out for a couple hours, it turned stiff as a board.

We use our absorber to wring out clothes when we travel; we have used these cloths for over a decade. To make your cloth supple again, dampen it; before it dries completely, while still just damp, store it, folded, in a zip-lock plastic bag. If the cloth gets dirty, you can wash it in the washer and just before it dries completely, put it in the zip-lock bag.

Q: can the towels be cut in half for smaller uses?

People have cut them, but we do not advise as this would lead to the edges fraying.
