This is my first ever mesh chair so I have no perspective on what makes a good mesh chair etc But after doing hours and I mean hours of homework on modern chairs etc, I can confidently say I made the right choice for me.My older Satra Air chair, which I bought in 2016 on Amazon, lasted about 4 years before it broke apart, 4 years and the leader starts to chip away. it was like a high-end executive Office chair. While it was comfortable, it had no headrest which always bother me. And in the summertime, I always sweated like crazy in the chair, even just sitting in underwear, etc After doing my Homework I found this chair to have everything I need it to do and more so. More options than The expensive 800-1500 Herman Miller chairs. More options than Steel Series chairs, and most of the high-end chairs .. half the time these expensive chairs have one option you like on high-end chairs but then they are missing another option. I found that this Samafou chair has everything you need. I'm about 5,11 205 pounds and it fits perfectly once I adjust the height to 2 inches, some chairs have lumbar support but it hurts some people's back because it's too high or too low, or too firm. No problem with the Samafou, you can adjust it so it's less pressure or the height to fit you better.The item was well packaged, and the materials look high-end and worth the money, etc compared to other chairs in its price range that have hard plastic support. which this chair has a full metal back frame, etc same as the armrest.I tested out for 2 days so far before writing this review, and I sat on the chair for more than 8 hours a day from 8 am to about 11 pm, and let me tell you, no butt soreness or lower back pain, compared to the Old Setra executive chair I used to get sore at the 7 pm mark. and I also notice I have more energy at the end of the day sitting in this chair etc. I also almost bought a used Herman Miller from a guy on "offer up" for $350-$400 glad I didn't. because Miller chairs only come in 3 sizes and if you're trying to save money your most likely going to get a Size big which may or may not fit you also a lot of these chairs used are over 10 years old that people are selling them for 500$- $800 etc, even when you buy them from respected sellers etc They Refurbush 10-year-old miller chairsAt first, the Samafou seat will feel hard at first, but all high-end mesh chairs have a more firm seating which helps blood flow and makes it so you can sit longer, while the soft executive chairs are softer and more comfortable at first glance, your but sinks depending on how you sit so after about two hours you will get soreness from sitting down, you don't get that with this chair or high-end mesh chairs, etcMy only issue is the inner arms do feel loose but I think it was just designed that way, also this company needs a website, just do everything by email? Anyway, this is a great Chair overall.if you're on the fence about this chair ill say go for it.Update as of 5/2/23 the chair is still fine going on a year later

comfortable chair but the lumbar support broke off at 49 weeks of use. Contacted the seller and have had no follow-up from them even though they state it has a 5-year warranty.The seller will not contact you back if you have any warranty issues.

I've had this chair 3 days now and use it about 10 hours each day. This is the second chair I have gotten recently. I sent the first one back because it was cheap and not well made. This one is different. I am 5' 9" and about 275 lbs and this chair fits REALLY well. I like the adjustable arms ALOT. They swing out from two pivot points which is very smart engineering. The back "spine" is metal not plastic and the seat is wide enough and adjustable forward and back. The lumbar support is firm and stays in place. The head rest is in a good spot. The wheels and legs are on a solid ring which I like. This model also has a foot rest extension. To be honest I chose this inspite of the foot rest because I don't envision using it. It took a little while to get used to it because I often tuck my feet directly back under the seat but that is really minor. The foot rest works very well and I may end up using it some.There is only one problem. The piston that controls height adjustment seems to be at a slightly smaller diameter than the hole in the ring and not tapered properly so it pushed all the way thru the base ring and is less than 1/4" from the floor. Since I am on a chair mat that isn't a problem. The problem is that at its highest the seat is just a little lower than I like; about 19" from the floor. I can see that for someone taller this could possibly be a deal breaker. I am thinking about how to address this.Overall it is a really nice chair and while it is early I seems like it is plenty sturdy and will last quite a while. I am very pleased with it. I would give it 4.5 out of 5 only because of the piston.

I don't normally do this but this product is such good quality, it should last for many years.Just follow the simple directions and if you use these pictures too, they will help to make your assembly very easy.Fig 1) Chair came in a study box.Fig 2) Very well pack and organized to protect each part from damage and scratches.Fig 3) For the few screws you need, + they sent extra and were marked correctly.Fig 4) Very well made one piece die casted polished aluminum baseFig 5 ) Shows the leg support (that slides out from underneath. Just undo the two screws on end, slide itin thru the channel in the chair base and re-seat the screws back in the plate.Fig 6) Screw the arms and base controller to the bottom.Fig 7) I found that placing this chair upside down on another chair allowed for the easy install of thebeautifully made backbone of the chair, the back. Again diecast polished aluminum- it's like a workof art!Fig 8 Screwing in the headrest and done.A beautiful, well designed, engineered, manufactured, shipped, and easy to assemble office chair,ready for use.Functionally, the arm rest provides tremendous maneuverability and flexibility for comfort.The lumbar support is excellent providing plenty of adjustments.The material provides great support and comfort from the seat to the back and head.What a great idea to have the leg support for leaning back and relaxing.I don't normally gush over a piece of furniture but having a background in quality, has allowed me to view this item with a very critical eye; so when something passes my review, you can take it to the bank.While I know this chair is a little on the expensive side, it's half the cost of the very high-end ergo chairs and of equal or better quality. You do, get what you pay for and it's worth it.
