Q: 1997 Chevrolet conversion van. Should have 1 chirp lock, 2 chirps unlock, alarm siren. Now rare chirp, no siren. Will this work? 4" 12 volt

I'm not sure. I made a alarm for my shed doors. I bought a transformer from 120 ac volts to 12 DC volts with magnetic switch . It works great and it's very loud I can definitely hear it from inside the house.

Q: If I supply a 12 volt power supply directly to the wires will the siren sound with a hi lo alarm sound ?

It's not really hi to me and a very low chrip don't waste ur money had two of them on my truck I change them too weak !

Q: Is this louder than the usual car alarm system
