I’d read these classics as a Lit Major at ECU and loved them, even the heavy lifting involved in summiting the dialect of Tim Finnegan’s Wake. What I thought was a good idea is one of my worst ideas in college. Happy sold my collection of Joyce hardbacks. Then again, groceries are good. This printing is great. It is definitely a feat in literature and a bonafide bargain.

It's not great, is not bad, the fact that they are sell as a collection is a massive advantage over other publishing houses like Penguin, but it nothing exceptional, just good. The quality of the paper is average, but at the same time it doesn't feel cheap.

If you enjoy James Joyce then you will likely read these books more than once. The print is comfortable the bindings are high quality for a paperback and they are really good for reading. They are a nice matching set with much care put into the basic elements of the book. They seem durable and a good size for the hand.
