Escape

This is the 5th HG Tudor book I've read in less than two weeks. I just finished it and will now start on the 6th. I have read 16 other books on this topic, by other authors, in the last month. NONE of them have helped me learn and apply the lessons as much as HG's books have. I highly recommend them to anyone who finds themselves ensnared by a narcissist, sociopath or psychopath because none of your friends, family, and possibly even your therapist will fully comprehend the horror endured in a relationship with these people. I finally get it now. Thank you Mr. Tudor. I don't know why you're helping us, it seems to go against everything your kind does, but I am grateful and intend to read every one of your books as well as your blog.

I liked the book. Interesting point of view from the narcissist. He gives solid advice . if you are in a relationship with a narc, you need to read this book before planning your escape. Get a new cellphone, scan your residence for bugs, debug your laptop and have a professional detective look at your car, check for GPS monitors etc. Some narcs are ruthless and the author gives you an insight into the mind of the evil narc.I didn't like the spelling errors "focussed" instead of " focused" "b" instead of "be" "you" instead of "your". The author should invest in an editor. But then, he is a narc, he is perfect. Haha. If I am spending my money to purchase a book, I expect it to be edited and free of spelling errors.

The best read in his series by far, especially for my situation in recently going no contact. No matter how you logically try to reason with yourself that there will be something you can do, he lays it all out on the table why it can never be and why you have no choice but to exit from this person's life. Highly recommend!

No respect for audience & although dressed as help (it sort of is), there are too many malignant assumptions about victims (audience) who are only considered in the authors pathological viewpoint. There are very practical facts for no contact but little regarding a victims need to seek mental health professionals. The writer gives too much negative capability to the Narcissist, which is a broad spectrum; many of which do not have the ability to go to the extreme lengths noted here. BUT....irregardless of a diagnosis (pointless anyway)....this book will explain how to escape an abusive person. It is serious but I dislike the constant “if you are able,” and “you will be hooked, again “ unfortunately, the cognitive dissonance does drive this bond but the Narcissist will happily take credit

I read this at the request of a close family member who has been in a 10 year relationship with a classic narcissist. Our family tried to get her out of it for years. This book has been the catalyst for change we and she couldn’t get on our own. It is challenging when kids are involved and there is still some work to go, but getting there more and more with these tools.Once you read this book, you can’t “unknow” what you will then know and if you don’t use the very clear tools provided and you stay in a relationship with a narcissist, whether it be intimate or friendship, that then says something about yourself that needs to be examined. Doesn’t get anymore terrifyingly blunt than this book.

This book is wonderfully written . I find HG Tudor to be incredibly interesting highly intelligent...being that I have very true personal issues with the narrscisst I of course read many things throughout my life on this subject ...i even put myself through school majoring in mental health to try and figure out my family dynamic....nothing ever fit nor satisfied me . I think my only salvation was to cut the cord ..HG is very to the point cutting out the scientific explaination ....its very informative I highly reccomend this book for those who are just curious and for those who have real life experience . I wish I found this book sooner HG through his writing allowed me to see I was on the right path

A step-by-step guide as to how to get out of that awful relationship that keeps you tied in knots. I am so glad to have had the relationship I did with my ex, so I could become more aware of how I attract that type of person. But I was even more glad to be RID of him! Everyone who is in a tumultuous relationship should read this book!

From not understanding what was causing my unhappiness, to understand that I am innocent, took a lot of effort. I mean "understand" in the way that I now can act in my best interest, even as my partner fakes distress in the most convincing manner. Now I have tested what I have been advised to do in this book, and it works! It works!

Sorry but I have a real problem with the H G Tudor Narcissist series. I can't help but feel that he really has a good thing going with these tiny books and knows it. Unfortunately when I ordered this 'book' I hadn't checked out the number of pages it actually contained and hadn't picked up on this due to the cost (normally tiny Kindle books come with tiny price tags). The fact is that H G Tudor could easily compress all of these tiny books together in one or two editions at most giving us a complete insight into this destructive personality disorder rather than these stand alone 'chapters'.I don't have a huge issue with the books themselves and how they are written although H G Tudor does come across as a bit smug.... creepy even....

I could hear all the traits in my Ex’s behaviour but still wanted to know more about how to keep up the no contact except via 3rd Party’s when sharing children. I would like more ways to be prepared to support the child involved and become wise to the tricks

FactualSimpleInsightfulIt is what it is approach.Each manipulative ploy is explained in an understandable way with no fancy language. And for each point there is helpful advice. Namely ignore, keep calm, do not buy into the manipulation so.Hard to do advice but the author repeats and repeats it.Like a role model, keep trying.This is a bible. I'll be turning to it a lot.

This book can change your mindset if you’ve been in a narcissistic relationship and you truly want to escape but just can’t quite do it! That was me, I tried to leave for years but always got drawn back in! I read this book and finally saw the truth, it gave me the courage and tools to be free, it gave me answers when I was lost, I highly recommend it to the victims of these evil leaches!

Opened my eyes up to things I wasn’t aware of and just letting boundaries tested . Now I see a lot clearer ! Used to accept that I was in the wrong all the time and now can see patterns of behaviour described from this book . Found some peace - thank you

Ok so some of the advice in this series actually helped me escape a narcissistic sociopath (obvs police and other agencies also helped...). I’m dubious though as it is written by a narcissist, however it worked for me.

This book was an easy read with simplified accounts of how this one person with a narcissistic personality disorder functioned. I was moved by how much of himself he exposed in order for the reader to get one of the best accounts of being in the head of a narcissist.

If you're not sure what a narcissist is or if you're trying to get out of a relTionship with one this book is a must

Excellent from start to finish. Wish I had read this 9 yeqrs ago. Everythinf about narcissist is absolutely spot on. Would highly recommend especially if you are living with a narcissistic nwhich I am but looking to change. Just difficult with children but I will get there. A must read.

What's not to like, punchy straightforward and honest, gripped from start to finish, looking for the next from this author, full of insight of things you've seen but never truly recognised, should be in school curriculum reading list, really interesting. A MUST READ

Anyone interested or confused by someone's very ugly behaviour should read this book. It is excellent and very informative

A brilliant book !! Reading this has shown me I can ESCAPE its a must read for anyone who knows someone with this type of personality. Thank you to the author the humour works brilliantly

To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

For those in recovery this answers many outstanding g questions and provides answers to give strength for dealing with a narcissist.

An enlightening, fascinating read that motivated and inspired me to leave my narcissist for good. Highly recommended
