Yes. I asked the same question. I went to the actual website and they are non toxic!

We haven't gotten them on clothes yet, so I don't know about that. My little one has managed to get them on her (plastic) table and chairs, as well as our bamboo-eucalyptus wood floor. They came out, but I needed a magic eraser to do it - nothing else I tried worked. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

One package does not clearly State non-toxic. It does however suggest to not ingest a Crayons, which seems to be a given 2. my kids have not colored on anything they should not have colored on, so I do not know if they are washable or not
