Another Album Fighting The Odds!
The cover art is absolutely appalling (as the original) and let's just say NONE of these guys look like rock stars. So logically this album is probably terrible.....Nope! Another very high quality reissue from No Remorse Records in a nice thick glossy sleeve (that doesn't improve the cover art in the slightest!). Great remastering job, my vinyl copy sounds superb. This Danish band did well to avoid the whole 'sounding like Mercyful Fate' thing and instead produced a very good album of high class melodic heavy metal. The more I listen to this album the more I like it. Some great riffs and solos, plenty bass, superb drum sound and more than decent vocals. Keyboards are used here and there to thicken the sound which works very well indeed. All in all a very creditable album of good/great tunes and sounding very good indeed. Fans of early Witch Cross and Neat era Saracen would probably enjoy this record immensely. Despite appearances a very highly recommend album!
