Replacement works great! Some wire manipulation needed!
Fixed my Astro C40 with this battery replacement. Some manipulation of the wires is needed as it doesn’t perfectly fit in the original location. But once you get it to fit everything is working perfectly fine. Also note that the original battery has some adhesive attached to it to keep the battery in place. This replacement battery does not have any adhesive on it so I just took some tape and made it double sided. Hope this review helps someone in need.

Works Great!
Bought this for my C40 and it worked great.

Product functional, not compatible out of the box
When I received the product, the ground and negative wires were reversed. I was well versed enough to fix this, and the battery works now that it's in, but a less savvy buyer would assume it was a faulty battery, as it would not work at all.

Swapped wires
Got my battery in and the wires are not in the correct spot can't fix it the white and black wire was swapped didn't work on my controller

Direct fit life saver
The battery pack was a direct fit just plug and play. The battery charges quick and holds better than the original my Astro came with.

Not the correct adapter for the C40 controller
This product is misleading. The connection piece to plug this battery into the controller is significantly smaller than the port on the C40. Opened my controller for no reason. Look elsewhere

Perfect replacement for Astro C40 TR Wireless controller battery
My Astro C40 TR died recently. I was using it one night, plugged it into my PS5 to charge overnight, and the next morning the controller would not power on. I tried all of the different methods to "reset" the controller, but nothing solved the issue. Found this battery on Amazon and pulled the trigger. It was super easy to install and completely fixed my dead and out of warranty Astro controller.
