Pretty Good SciFi Flick
Some of the recent scifi films rely on low budget effects, but with decent stories, and decent scripts. This is one of those. Set your expectations a bit lower for this low budget, but interesting none the less. Enjoyed it a lot.

Tom Holland is THE man! Can do no wrong.
Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) lives on the distant planet of New World--a new hope for humanity until struck by 'The Noise,' a virus which inflicts immersive visions of ones' every thought. It is silently deafening. Then from a ship from Earth (200 Yrs travel) lands a girl named Viola< the two unlikely companions are forced on an adventure to find a safe place for her -- the environment where all thought is heard, all movement seen only by men they have to run and are being chased. I never read the books so I see this as a movie and I enjoyed it a lot. Especially Tom Holland, he made this movie, yes, sometimes all the walking is tedious and sometimes it is predictable but I did enjoy it a lot. Good Scifi and worth watching. Did I mention how amazing Tom Holland is?

Great movie
Great movie. Bought used. Disc was in great condition but outside box was not. There was a big slice cut the whole way across the bottom of my outside case. This was not told in the description.

"My Name is Todd Hewitt."
The movie title should've been "My Name is Todd Hewitt." Tom Holland must have repeated it a couple hundred times. The movie had several bankable actors toiling with a weak screenplay. The movie came across with the same emotional depth of the Twilight series (not a compliment). Tell you what, go watch Interstellar, The Martian, the Dune remake and/or the Amazon series The Expanse. All great sci-fi. THEN come back and rate Chaos Walking objectively. Rotten Tomatoes rating is spot in.

Chaos Walking Thumbs Up
Novel concept and somewhat relevant about what might happen if we move to another planet. Also Tom goes skinny dipping to catch dinner... It has its funny moments throughout the whole movie.

Entertaining with moments of humor and action.
How would anyone react or deal with every thought in their head on display for anyone to see or hear? How would they react if it's only the males that are effected? The "noise" is an interesting notion.I really enjoyed the movie. Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley did an awesome job making this movie believable and entertaining. I'd actually see them together again playing their roles. Mads Mikkelsen was a formidable villain too.
