TUG Oval 360° Tangle-Free Retractable Dog Leash with Integrated Waste Bag Dispenser (Large, Black)

This leash beats out all the others by far! It’s lightweight and retracts easily. Not sure what the line is made of but it doesn’t snag on tree and shrub limbs. All my other ones are ripped and snagged up from her constant gecko hunting in the bushes. If i could give it a 10+ it would deserve it. I’ve gone through dozens of other brands. These are my favorite!

moose is around 120 pounds ,,, a gentle Marmaduke ,,, until a squirl or cat or fellow dog crosses paths and so far the leash has done its job,,, handy to have the bag holder in the leash not a leash chewer so i cant comment on that issue but they seem to be holding their own,,, the red one is emmy;s a 45 pound super ball for you older folks :-) ,,, she bounces just like one ,, here there everywhere ,,, around trees, mail boxes, people ,moose she has no common sense or personal space sense sho hers will be the one that breaks first but so far so good

I've used this leash for a full year now (Dec 2023 to Jan 2025) and thought to go back and review it since I use it daily to walk my 65lb lab. The large size leash has held up great and I LOVE that it holds 2-3 poop bags. I hated having the dangly bag holder on my old leash. I bough the flashlight that attaches to the leash but it fell off within the first week and i could not find it. Not very secure. Other than that this has been a very good purchase and if this one breaks in a few years, I will likely buy it again.

Geeat product but the light can fall off too easily. Should be made permanent vs an attachment. Really do not need all the light choices. Just need the bright white light

My dog is a 30-32 lb pit bull/corgi mix. I used this leash for 3 1/2 yrs. Just gave out this morning and wouldn’t retract. That’s fine. I got what I wanted out of it. I put another one in my cart.

My favorite part of this leash is the bag stash in the handle. I particularly like this because I don't like having dangly things hanging from the leash. If you fold the bags neatly you can fit about 8 of them in the handle. I wish there was an integrated hook to hold the poop bags once they were used.The retractable part of the leash is a little clunky loud, I've used other leashes that are much soother operating and wish this was better. If you get a snag on the leash it just keeps unraveling over time and you will eventually get fed up from cutting off the frayed parts and buy a new leash. I tried melting it to stop if from unraveling but it didn't do the trick.

I was using a "tiny" size white TUG leash for my yorkie which is frankly the best retractable leash i've ever used, perfect little size for a little guy and the retractable leash lasted years without issue, always quick to retract even in our extreme nor'easter beach winds here. never any issues with it getting twisted up when retracting. perfect little size even with my semi-large man hands to hold with a few fingers.but at 10' length for the tiny, i wanted a little more for my area, so i stepped it up to a "small" size for the 16' leash length. the black and glow-at-night green one, but that thing doesn't retract worth a crap, sometimes i'm having to help it retract with my other hand, and the wider/thicker glow-green lead kinda warped itself early on near the end so it just looks crappy.finally i decided to try one more, the "small" size of this top model with the LED light and bag holder, and it's definitely a step above. it feels like ultra cheap material, but it retracts more like the "tiny" model, only rarely is there an issue and it resolves itself fairly easily. the leash wider like the crappy black/green model but still thin like the "tiny" size, and so there are rarely any issues with it twisting up when retracted.I drop these "small" sizes more and I think despite this one feeling more cheap than the ones before it, it will survive as long I think my mistaken cheap feeling is that it is just very lightweight compared to the others. i still wish they had a longer leash on the "tiny" size but this is the best it gets otherwise.
