I have type 4 hair and this is one of the best brushes I’ve used to detangle my hair. I used it to detangle my hair with conditioner and it glided right through my hair after getting all the knots and tangles out. I didn’t loose a lot of hair even though my hair is pretty thick so that’s always amazing. This is a great brush for $16 and it’ll probably last a long time. The bristles are stiff and don’t move around which is good and they aren’t sucker thick. I love this brush and I recommend to anyone trying to find a good detangling brush. Just make sure you have some kind of product in your hair before using it.

This thing works. That’s all you need to know. Once your hair has gotten enough product in it, it will glide right through like a ship sailing on a perfect summers day. The size is perfect once your hair has reached a large Afro and more. I would go smaller in size if you have less hair. I will say that I returned this item on Amazon because it came used with hairs and particles in it. I ended up heading to ULTA Beauty to get another one and it was great. Check your brush tips out of the package before use.

I have very long, thick, 3B curls. I now own three of these. I gifted them to everyone in my family from a teenager with soft waves to a 92 year old with straight thin hair and a sensitive scalp and they all adored them and wanted an extra. Great to use before the shower and in the shower. Wonderful for distributing masks and conditioners. Very Easy to clean. The only drawback is I wish there was a loop at the end of the handle so I could hang it.

Decent and doesn't hurt my daughter who has 4a/4b hair. I also use it on my 4c hair. Have to do very small sections though. I wish the teeth were longer. Teeth tend to bend after a few months of use so these brushes just don't last very long for type 4 hair usage. But I keep going back because it's gentle compared to the denman, unbrush.

This brush is the best. My curls are on fleek. Not only did it define them but made detangling my hair with ease. Even better, only a little bit of hair came out which is good because I am trying to grow my hair a little

Holy grail in detangling hair. I wish I'd known about this brand years ago, when I was spending 45 mins detangling in the shower. This cuts my detangling time to 10 mins max (super thick curly/coarse hair) and I find that the breakage is minimal. No pain, and glides perfectly thru the curls especially when you have a conditioner with good slip. I'm on my 4th tangle teaser brush, the other 3 were stolen by friends/family when they saw how well they work. I couldn't recommend this brush enough.

I purchased the brush for coily 4c hair and it works great! Has made detangling soo much easier!

I love this brush, it’s doesn’t snag your hair, it’s gentle on all hair types. And is easy to clean hair off.
