Outstanding little winches for our 2013 King Quad 400's so far. Installation wasn't as difficult as expected, although Warn needs to be a wee bit more thorough in the wiring instructions (the brown contactor wire gets little to no love from Warn). The provided wires were actually long enough to reach where they needed to be! I know, I was surprised too. Thank you Warn! Since this is our first venture with synthetic rope I'm hoping the pros outweigh the cons... fingers crossed.

Great winch!
Great winch!!! I used this on my zipline to take the slack out of a 90' 1/4" steel cable line. Worked like a champ on the four wheeler. I installed it as well the instructions made it easy to install.

The synthetic rope doesn’t work well in the cold weather
It was easy to hook up and works great . The rope I’m having issiues with . The first time I used it to plow it snapped . So I cut out 3foot section to plow with and the same thing happened again

Garbage, two new in box were faulty
Trust the reviews that say this is junk. I wasted a Saturday trying to install two separate Warn Vantage 2000 winches on my ATV. Both of them got stuck in free spool right away (just like many others mentioned) and could not be wound back up. Thankfully I bought them at a local power sports store that returned them without issue.

Great winch, I like the rope
This is a great winch. I mainly use it to raise/lower a plow in the winter. The Polaris winch that came with the unit in 2010 finally quit this winter.

Easy install. Directions could be a little better
Installed on both my 2015 Honda Ranchers. Easy install. Directions could be a little better. You hang your 4-wheeler from a tree!!! Buried one in the creek and the other pulled it right out no problem. Just bought a third for new 2017. Warn- stands up to the reputation.
