This product is great! I highly recommend it. The different colors are brigth and beautiful and the sounds are great too. Its fun as well as practical for toddlers with all of the electrical outages that we have in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico!

Bought this for my grandson and he absolutely loves this toy, no noisy jarring sounds just nice soft natural nature sounds pretty light colors and easy for a toddler to play with, does require batteries though. Highly recommend!

I got this lantern for my 2.5-year-old who wants to flip through books after I turn out the light at night. I want to encourage her interest in books and quiet bedtime routines. This lantern has been the perfect solution for her to see her books, but calm down.The picture I included is of the “white” light setting, which is the brightest. It isn’t super bright, but she is happy with it. It automatically turns itself off to save batteries, which was going to be one of my major concerns. Discussing what color she wants on her lantern each night is an easy diversion to prevent bedtime resistance, as she is excited to turn on her lantern! It comes with several colors and sound effects for each one. You just push the turn-button in to start and stop the audio. The other essential part of this lantern for me was the battery compartment being secure for safety reasons. It has a screw to keep her curiosity at bay, making me comfortable to leave her alone with the lantern at night.There are some cards that fit into the bottom of the lantern. They’re kind of a waste, but not a deterrent. I just threw them in her toy box and haven’t seen them since. It was a matter of time before they got lost anyway. They don’t add much, if any, play value. I also don’t think they are driving up the cost much either though …You’ll love this lantern, too, for your little one’s personal bedtime routine! Just buy it already!

My son loves this toy, we turn it on and turn off the lights in his room and pretend we are exploring a cave. Makes a nice night light and sound machine to fall asleep to, the sound can be easily turned off if you just want light, and it's not so bright that I have to worry about him staring at it like other lanterns, but it still puts out good light. He did break off the top handle after a few days of being rough with it, but that's the least important part of the lantern. Still very happy with it, that's the ONLY reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson for a family trip to the mountains. He took it everywhere! The variety of colors and sounds are adorable. It is very well made and sturdy for kids. The picture discs for the bottom really have no purpose and fell off easily so we just tossed them.

He loves his little lantern and falls asleep with it every night, he picks the color and sounds he wants and drifts off to sleep.

This is a great toy for pretend play. The colors and sounds are perfect. Worth the price.

This has been fantastic for pretend play. My child also uses it at night to read if she wakes up and has trouble sleeping. L Works great for white noise, isn’t too bright for little eyes, and it does have an auto shutoff if left on too long. So far the batteries seem to be lasting- it’s being weeks of daily (and nightly) use and so far, so good.

The light is perfect for a night light, the sounds are not too loud. The knob is easily controlled by my light on/light off obsessed grandson. Perfect size for him to carry it around. He is learning names of different colours, so it was fun for him to turn the knob to a colour and identify the colour. If I had to deduct marks, it wold be that you can't turn the light on without the sound coming on. You can press the knob to make the sound stop.
