A little smaller than I anticipated but after looking at the pics, I should’ve realized it. They seem to do good. The GVM lights are not super bright, but it works.

Installing is NOT easy - and the instructions don't help much. ROTATE THE LED PANEL SO THAT IT'S PARALLEL TO THE FLOOR. It is MUCH easier to slide the corners on that way without them falling off. Place the diffuser a bit further in on the velcro so that there is room for the grid beehive. Once they are on, they will hold the pesky corner pieces in place. The light looks amazing. I'm surprised GVM didn't make the corners able to snap on somehow.

I use it for light and photography. Works great, I bought batteries for it. It still works great. The case is protective. It is bright and has to good lighting FX. Stands are not great, easy to knock over but good they fit in case. Trade offs. If you want more sturdy set higher, you will need to use better stands, but the ones that come with it are good. Worked with my Samsung S22 ultra using app. Over all a great value.

This little softbox works as it should and does what its supposed to do.. make soft light. The grid does a very good job at controlling the light also. It being a deep grid it really tightens up the beam while keeping it nice and creamy. A perfect addition to the GVM 850D light system.
