Loved this book! It's great for kids or anyone who wants to quickly learn the basics of Van Gogh's life. Nicely illustrated & easy to read.

This book is great for introducing to children ideas about specific movements in art to children at a very young age, as well as the life of the leading representative of the impressionist movement - van Gogh. Should the author produce more illustrated books for this series, we can expect kids to enter school with much greater knowledge than my generation when they did so.

I was drawn to the Cover and Title of this book as I was looking for a book of non-fictional information for a 7 yr old boy!Full of facts and drawings that youngsters as well as adults would love! I would recommend this book as a must buy for every child.
