Want to paint something thats not an animal or scenery? This might be just for you.
This painting was a really nice change of pace rather than the usual scenery or animals that you usually get in a paint by number. Iron Man was really tough to do for me, as there were a lot of straight lines. The Hulk and Thor were really fun to paint though... I will spray a clear coat, frame it, and my son will probably love it (as I painted it for him). I wish they made 11 x 14 pictures of each character in a paint by number as well. I would buy Hulk and Thor as I enjoyed painting them.

Nice!
Love the "board" this is printed on... I have been doing PBN on canvases and this is my first PBN that has come on a hard pressed board... it reminds me of a type of foam board but it’s much more firm... I like that I don’t have to have it stretched out on to a wooden frame... I will be able to have this framed and displayed with a nice matted frame... I can’t wait,to,finish it! The paints are nice and thick... they are bright and vivid where they should be and deep, dark and rich where they should be... was a bit apprehensive about having to mix color to get other colors for the painting but it has been easy to do... will post a finial picture when Inhave finished it!

Good product, bad shipping
The product is good and is advertised.Lost a star due to shipping. The box came with a crease and end of the painting was slightly dent, but this seems to be a common issue with these paintings.

This was an awesome project! Very detailed and intense
This was an awesome project! Very detailed and intense, but that’s what made the end result so fantastic! I got it to paint for my nephew for Christmas. I started in November. I finally finished it Jan 6th, just in time for his birthday on the 9th! WOW! I’ve never had a pbn project that was so time consuming, but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! If you have someone in your life who enjoys the Marvel franchise and want to get on their good side, this is the project for you. Just set aside about two months to get it done! Great quality of paint and canvas board. Be prepared to buy many, small (size 0/3, good quality) brushes to complete it. I highly recommend this!

This was an awesome PBN. Such bright colors were fun to work ...
This was an awesome PBN. Such bright colors were fun to work with and the entire project was thoroughly enjoyable. The paintbrush provided is decent, although I did also use a tiny detail paintbrush in some areas. The color blending was easy and even though the black paint was running low, I did have enough for everything. Definitely be careful with the black though! After finishing it, I sprayed it with a clear acrylic sealer which really seemed to give it more depth and richness. I ended up matting and framing it to hang in my grandson's room. He was thrilled! Sorry for the reflections on the pic, but you can still tell how great it turned out.

Characters depicted (L to R): Thor, Hulk Iron Man, Hawkeye, Captain America, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Falcon (top)
This was only my second paint by number and I think it turned out really well. I painted it as a surprise for my 5 year old son and he was so excited! If you're anything like me (untalented), you'll need smaller brushes than the one provided. I went to an art store and bought the smallest one I could find (Princeton select short liner 18/0), then bought a bunch more from Amazon (roughly $4 each). List of characters depicted (from L to R): Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Captain America, Nick Fury, Black Widow, and Falcon (above).

So far so good!
Got this for my husband as a Christmas gift because he said he'd like to try paint by number. My husband isn't a patient man so I was concerned that he would get bored with it. He has painted a quarter of the sky so far and says it's pretty fun. Make sure you keep the picture on the front of the box for color reference also. It even states that in the directions because you have to mix some colors too!

Awesome. Just awesome.
I have been doing paint by numbers for a while for relaxation, and this is by far one of my favorites. The detail is amazing, and it is easy to add highlights. Colors were nicely pigmented and the consistency was neither too thick or too thin. Would look great in any little superhero’s room!!

Blending needing but worth the purchase
This is an awesome paint by number, worth the price. FYI you do need to blend, you have 18 standard colours and 20 colours to blend. They provide you with 1 paintbrush but you'll want to get a fine one and one that you can damage because of creating a blurry effect. This is not on canvas, it's on a board. Enjoy the painting! Took me over 3 months to do it working at it about 2hrs or so a night.
