I grew up too young to see Mott the Hoople; though absolutely 1 of my favorite bands- from having 2 older siblings who fronted Bands; the turntable was gifted with Ian Hunter & Mott; & Lou Reed - before I was allowed to leave our neighborhood court on my bicycle even! I grew up on the glory of these spectacular songs, reading about my heroes in Creem Magazine that my brothers brought home. I thought every desirable man would be interesting like Ian Hunter or James Osterberg when I was finally old enough to date ; A natural Gifted Lyrical Storytelling most Sublime. Mott broke up before my ability to leave my neighborhood- but Many times Seen Ian Hunter & was overjoyed to learn Mick Jones who formed the Clash - Hey NYC September 79 Palladium Gigs Best of My Life. We spoke of Mott Graced Guitars and the Gifted Reality of Feeling the Words in Living Daily Life - Full throttle! What else is the power fuel of growing into Being when accompanied by the life pulse of pure unadulterated, passionate, Rockin’ & Rolling Storytelling Narrative - that sweeps you into the world of Loving life’s eccentricities with all its incredible characters to meet day by day. All the Young Dude’s; written by Bowie, given to Mott; Blessed Anthem of Pure Feeling that burns the life force beyond the speed of human sustainable velocity! I already had most of these songs on vinyl, but couldn’t pass up the chance to upgrade to CD for less than $10. Am now re-discovering just how great Hunter and Mott were. Great package!

Great compilation. Buy this and create your own favorites mp3 cd because there is a ton of music here on three cds.Great British rock group. In my opinion the best by far. Ian Hunters lyrics and voice will put a smile on your face. Funny.If you dont have Mott the Hoople you're not the Nazz ... you're just a buzz ... some kind of temporary..

Great Artist, most likely a great cd. Purchased this cd as a "NEW" as it was advertised, thus this was not what I received. Cd was not in original factory packaging, in-fact, it was heat sealed into a larger sized plastic bag with warning's imprinted on the bag, about keeping bag away from small children. All 3 disc's are scratched, cardboard cover is torn. False ADVERTISING, THIS IS USED and ABUSED, NOT NEW, AS The SELLER LISTED IT. Shame on the seller.

Although I have everything by Ian Hunter, and Mott the Hoople, confound this to be an exception collection. Three discs of great music, with excellent sound quality, from earliest mott through 1983. Fifty tracks in all. There's never too much of a good thing when it comes to music you love, especially at this price.

Lots of awesome music on 3 CDs for a great price. All the best from Mott the Hoople and Ian Hunter while signed to Columbia. Complete your collection with Mott the Hoople's The Best of the Island Years (that's before they signed to Columbia), and every album Ian Hunter recorded since he left the label in 1990 (starting with YUI Orta, recorded with the legendary Mick Ronson).

I bought this collection even though I already have much of Ian's music in my collection. 3 CD'S with some if his best early hits that sounds even better now at a great price!

Ian Hunter’s 3 cd set is pure awesomeness.The sound is remarkable. No booklet, but the music kicks ass!

Ian Hunter, way underrated, iconic Rock Star. Awesome compilation. This set covers a lot of ground. Although it's not totally comprehensive it is a good start.

A great collection of Mott's and Ian's work. I have all the album's so this is a good mix of old and new. Recommended.

You need vol 2 of Ian Hunter. but it great music.
