I BOUGHT THESE BATTERIES HERE BECAUSE THE PRICE OF $12.95 WAS THE BEST I FOUND ANYWHERE AND I'VE HAD MOST OF THEM ON THE SHELF FOR A LONG TIME AND THEY STILL HAVE A FULL CHARGE AS I JUST REPLACED THE BATTERIES IN MY REMOTE CONTROL FOR MY LIGHTS AND CEILING FANS, AND FOR MY GAS POWERED REMOTE CONTROL HELICOPTER ALL THAT USE THIS 12 VOLT BATTERY AND AFTER THE UNUSED BATTERIES SITTING ON MY SHELF, THEY STILL WORK GREAT. I'LL CERTAINLY BUY THESE AGAIN WHEN THE SITUATION CALLS FOR IT. THESE BATTERIES AREN'T A DEAL,, THEY'RE A STEAL AT THE PRICE AND QUALITY. YOU WON'T REGRET THESE, NOT AT ALL.

Good replacement battery for home security system

I'm impressed by the quality, premium packaging. Packaging will ensure unused batteries remain safe. I've only removed 1 from the pack, in order to evaluate fit and function. Both were great. Purchased for use in LED cabinet lights so, I don't anticipate having to replace them for years. I am further impressed with the quality of the battery itself. Heavy casing that other batteries just don't have. Nice snug fit in the battery compartment. Extremely happy with this purchase.

I had thought these would be a good deal. After all, they're batteries, no need to go crazy expensive. Buying off-brand stuff comes with consequences. These batteries EXPLODE after as little as 2 weeks of use. I only have them in the remote for the ceiling fans, so they don't even get used that often. When they are used, it's 1 push of a button to turn on or off a fan/light.Today, the activity indicator light of the remote was constantly flashing, and from experience, I know what this means. I opened up the remote to remove the battery, and sure enough, it had expanded / exploded. This is the 2nd one in 2 weeks. These batteries are garbage.Save yourself the headache and get a name brand.
