Needs better firmware support from Creality, functions are very basic compared to the standard v2 screen, and after using Jyers' it's even more basic, but I control it from octoprint so very rarely use the screen anyway

Before I start it only gets 1 star as I can't leave it zero, once out the box it looks horrible with a huge surround and small screen in the middle and a dreadful shape, nothing pretty about this. then you measure against the original to find it's smaller and with the bigger surround it looks ridiculous. Okay lets get it plugged in, emm no you can't, you need to open her up to the main board and swap the cable, they couldn't even fit it with the correct socket to except the original cable and when when you look at the supplied cable it's poorly cut making those cables that are left a weak point. So got the new cable in flashed the firmware and nothing, nope no boot, checked all the cable, made sure the firmware was correct and still no boot, was just about to give up and moved the cable plugged in to the screen and presto the printer booted so that takes me back to my previous point of the shoddy plug. When on what a disappointment, zero extra features same dull colours as the old screen no different apart from touching the screen instead of pushing the knob. next problem I discovered was you need to re-boot the printer every time you insert the memory card as it can't see the files, this has been the easiest return for me yet and an honest review as looking at the other reviews makes me wonder!!

This screen makes levelling and temperature setting so much easier.Must admit I did goof up setting it up but the amazing help I got from support got me sorted.

Easy to install , not the easiest to set up especially if you get a faulty one the first time round, works better with the ender 3 v2 than the ender 3 or ender 3 pro as seems on the ender 3 doesn't show files on the sd card After installing this screen even with the correct firmware installed, currently there's not a work around for it so if you own a ender 3 it works but won't read ur sd card, there my be a fix for this but at the point of this review there is not. Works amazingly on the ender s1 and v2 with everything working as it should.

I would not recommend this item, can't do anything with it. It's got less features than the original screen, all you can do is pre-heat, move axis and that's it.You have to open the back of the unit, place a clean SD card in it with the latest touch firmware along with the folder of the assets needed. Boot the printer so it updates, switch off the printer and remove the card. Re-mount the screen. Place an SD card on the printer (with another firmware to update the printer). Once that's done, you need to re-do your e-steps. But guess what, you can't. This screen doesn't provide you with any advanced features to enable you to calibrate your printer.If you use octoprint, and you have now confirmed octoprint works with this new update, then you can do your esteps and save with m500. if not, you will have to use your slicer or pronterface to change your e-steps and save.It's a lot of hassle, so other than thinking "Yay it's a touchscreen on my printer", it's probably the worst upgrade. Think i'll use it as a paper weight or send it back and buy a BTT touch screen with more features.

Very good touch screen, appears to only work with Creality 4.2.7 main board and Creality firmware. Not impressed with the firmware.Seller very good.

One get the right firmware is good

Nice to use and a lot easier than the original knob but unfortunately it is missing some of the settings from the original controls
