Priced Right and Works Great in Attic Mount for 4 TVs.
I'll lead off with the fact that I don't live in a fringe area. I purchased a bit more antenna than I really needed because I planned an attic mount rather than the rooftop. I also wanted a strong signal because I have it split between 4 TVs and do not want to use a signal booster. The results? I can receive all of the channels typically available in this area from 4 different transmitter locations. They are all within 10 degrees of each other so I just aimed at the furthest tower. It works perfectly. I used a compass to aim the antenna once and all 4 TVs get a strong signal. A J-mount and a short (high quality) cable run later and I was up and running. The antenna is in small enough sections that they easily fit through the attic opening. It snaps together quickly and with a few wingnut spins. Make sure to look at the installation diagrams carefully for correct orientation of parts! The only time I used a power tool was to drill the holes for a J-mount (purchased separately on Amazon). It took me longer to chase the coax down the wall than it did to install this antenna.I imagine the plastic components of this antenna might not do well in someplace like Phoenix (lived there for a while), but it should do fine in its current location. Safe from UV rays inside my attic. Color me very pleased....whatever color that is.

Do the job
I was expecting more directionnality but do the job for me. A bit fragile. hope it will support winter time.

Great Performance
For size and performance, this antenna admirably surpasses its 30-year-old big brother: the Uda-Yagi/Log Periodic you see here with it in these photos. When the FCC TV frequency reallocation happened (not long ago), I started having a problem with one of my favorite TV channels. But I figured I'd just learn to live with it.I had a multipath problem with aircraft, on one channel, but this new antenna focuses the UHF beam down more narrowly vertically; slicing right through that little problem. (You will want to make sure it is level.)The Coast Guard Aviation Training Center is mere walking distance from my house, and their training excersizes take their C130s and helicopters at low altitude straight across where my antenna is trying to go. They fly over the neighborhood here all the time - learning how to fly those big airplanes and helicopters in all kinds of weather. But now, with this new antenna, and its narrow vertical beam, I can once again watch Masterpiece Theater without interruption. This antenna ignores the reflections bouncing off of those low-flying aircraft. Problem solved! :)The broadcast towers are all within about a 12 degree span from each other; between 25 and 45 miles away. I'm about 200 feet above sea level, up on top of a hill. The towers are all on the other side of the bay. This antenna is specced to be able to receive from a wider angle than that, but I didn't need it to.The only remaining VHF TV channel here is on 189MHz; and this little antenna surprisingly does just as good a job on that VHF station as its big brother there - the gigantic Log-Periodic you see beneath it (and offset to its right, but the photos don't show that aspect very well). It is measurably identical on that station. That was a pleasant surprise. Its UHF performance is better on all counts, and MUCH better on the aircraft multipath problem. The stacked array of Yagi directors (actually Uda, but Yagi took the credit) did the trick! (It looks intuitively like the stack would make it aim higher and lower, but it's the opposite.)This little antenna is perfectly balanced front-to-back as well as any airplane, if you want to hang it from the center of the top of its UHF corner reflector.I drove a single 1" roofing nail into the side of a rafter there, and hung the antenna from it via a couple of plastic cable ties. The square support member at the center of the reflector rests squarely against the rafter, so it self-centers perpendicularly with the rafter. The house just so happens to be perfectly aligned with the tower in question - bearing 91 degrees. There is a cable clamp on the main boom; which I moved down to the center/bottom of the UHF corner reflector (see photos). That worked better for my situation. For an un-amplified attic antenna (running through 50 feet of 77% Tri-shield RG6 already on hand), this little antenna is a marvel - if it can survive the shipment to your house - much like a Samsonite commercial; the gauntlet it has to run.Minus 1 star for inadequate packing. But UPS definitely used the first shipment for Rugby practice. It was beyond anything I've ever seen - like a parody out of Mad Magazine to deliver such a box with a straight face, or instead to sneak off into the darkness (which; they did!).They had to send out a replacement due to irreparable shipping damage, but the replacement unit was servicable and arrived quickly - even though, it too arrived with part of the antenna sticking through the box (the VHF drive element). But at least this second box didn't have big chunks torn out of it. (Why such rage and hatred from UPS?)I was able to straighten the elements all out to perfect alignment with just a few tweaks by hand. (I figure it's like aligning the azimuth on a tapehead... it matters how all of those antenna elements are situated... it's bad enough that it already has to go through plywood, asphalt shingles, and trees - but at least the lightning and hurricanes won't get it.)All things considered, this antenna is working remarkably well - as well as I had hoped upon first seeing its design.

*** EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT **
Installed Dec 16, 2014 - I normally wait a while before I write a review but this antenna is really good. Heavy duty, VERY well made. Shipping box was also good and thick. Came from Ohio. Was really easy to put together even without the instructions. Highly recommend. Ok now for the nitty gritty, I live in a 32 unit apt. build 10 miles outside NYC so as you can see I'm close to the transmission signal. The problem is that the tall buildings actually interfere with the broadcast signal. The previous antenna was ok but old and only uhf. and not that great. Needed a UHF & VHF antenna. Once I hooked this up (facing South) I had an excellent signal on all channels. Because this is a 32 unit building the line in gets split off into 32 apt. units. The original builder had the foresight to install the antenna coax system within the construction of the building to each apt. and the signal needs to be amplified, which is already in place, a Pico Macom TA-52 amplifier. I have installed many antennas before, This is the best so far. I also have another different UHF only antenna facing east for Channel 21. these 2 antennas are combined with the same amount of coax to the combiner. Getting 52 channels. If your further away from the broadcast signal an amplifier should be considered. I wish more people would cut the cord and see the high quality channels that are free. Will try to add a photo. Thanks. Wayne

Pulled in station I was having difficulty getting with GE pro.
Assembly was a breeze. Antenna significantly more signal gathering compared to GE pro. This gets all my UHF channels and the one VHF channel. I have been through a couple bad storms and antenna performed well. I have 2 UHF stations that are 42 and 55 miles away and I am able to get them. After reading other review I must concur with other that the packaging could be greatly improved with a heavier cardboard box. My box looked like hell (holes in box around the corners) but the antenna was fine.
