I ordered the pink for my Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix who is about 115+ pounds and her Rottweiler genes are more dominant. I ordered size XL given her weight and neck size. Every collar I find seems to be a bit too small so I sized up to play it safe. I should’ve ordered a large for her so that’s on me! The collar seems to be AMAZING quality. However, I think (and as many others do in their reviews) that the leash could be increase the quality/durability. Having such a large breed and her weight I don’t feel comfortable walking her on it as I feel it could snap under any circumstance. That being said she doesn’t pull or anything on the leash as she’s leashed trained. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the leash for a larger breed especially one that pulls. All of this being said, I will definitely be returning this one and getting a size large! And hopefully it lasts us a very long time! :)

Loved:1. The handle is what I love the most! My rescue, very strong Golden boy, needs this because of his "minding" me when we are out in front on leash. He needs a leash because he's a runner whereas my other golden rescue does not. I am getting him used to it now so when we start with a trainer he will be used to it. Let's just say the handle on the collar is perfect, not too small not to large.Disliked:1. Too much at 1.6" wide, reason was because I have a golden retriever (long hair) and I bought a L (17"-20") and it was just too "bulky" for him with the velcro.2. A lot of velcro for the hair.

This review is for the collar and leash package. I bought the pink and purple for my two dogs. I'll update this review in a few months for durability.Four stars because the collars are well made. Better than I expected for the price. Seems comfortable on my pups. The colors are bright and beautiful, and match well with what is displayed online. The velcro is strong and seems secure. I bought the large, which fits both my adult 60lb Pitbull x German Shepherd mix and 50lb English Mastiff pup perfectly, with room to expand when necessary. I will be buying a larger size in this collar when my puppy is grown if it is as durable as it seems to be.On the other hand, the leash is terrible. The handle is just a large loop of nylon that isn't particularly comfortable to hold. It has a lot elasticity in the leash - terrible for teaching my 4 month old Mastiff pup not to pull. I'm sure it would be fine for my adult dog that does not pull on a leash, but it feels cheap and I honestly kind of hate it. Don't waste your money on the leash.

We have a large Belgian sheepdog, and this collar is great for those few moments when you need to handle your dog but don’t need or want a leash. It’s heavy duty, but still comfortable for him to wear during the day, plus the blue is a nice fun color which pops against his black coat. The buckle latches nicely and you know that it is secure. The handle is has a comfortable rolled grip, but isn’t so bulky that it annoys the dog. Have gotten several comments from other large breed dog owners who liked this option.

This collar is amazing! First off, the sizing: I tried for a large, because I honestly thought my dog would wear one (at least tightened all the way), but it just barely fits him - that's my error, though. I still put it on him so he'll get used to the thickness of it, but I'll wait 'till he fits it fully (he's only six months and 70 lbs already!) before using it out of the house. The moral of the story: listen to the seller and measure before purchasing! :DThis thing is made -very- well. The O ring for leash connection is solid, large and easy to clip; after the collar is wrapped, the metal connections are snapped together, and I'm telling you this collar is -not- coming off (ahem - providing you measured!) The leash is great, I love the triple control I have - first hand-hold where you'd expect (at the end of the leash), second one down the leash nearer the dog, and then if you need that last level of control, the hand-hold on the collar is excellent. I love that the leash is reflective, also.If you want a collar and leash that give you excellent control of the dog you're working with, are well made, durable, AND look snazzy on them, this is a great choice.

I read a review that it slipped off easily and sure enough it did the first time I put the leash on BUT it’s because I didn’t have it fastened tight enough. Once I got it tightened to where it was secured but breathable it’s been great since. I tried sharing a pic but it won’t let me for some reason but I got the Medium for my 61lb husky. Fits like a charm with plenty or room to spare.

I have a mixed pit bull with Australian shepherd dog and my sisters dog which is the same breed ate the handle off twice now other than that it’s a good collar

I bought this for my chow chow a couple months ago and it’s so durable she pulls so hard on every single collar I’ve ever bought her. She was able to break them all but she isn’t able to break this one easily like the other ones I’ve gotten her. Would highly recommend for anyone who has a large and strong dog.
