Now this sucker packs . Once I connected I was receiving signal/ chatter and the magnet is strong holds well on top of roof .

Very sturdy. A great magnetic base. The rubber base cover is great to protect the paint.

This is great, I overheard truckers a bunch, but pretty much any antenna can revieve as long as the transmitter has a long whip antenna, as for transmitting, not sure, I talked to one guy a unknown distance on a traffic jam, but that's it. I'm getting a 6ft whip but will give this to my friend for his cb, and hopefully he can talk to me from inside our town!

Good price and works ok

Price was good, antenna looked great. Didn't work for me. Don't know if it was the antenna or radio . So returned it. Return process was great.

Because I carry a handheld CB it doesn't have the range a CB with an antenna would have. Because I drive for rideshare companies I had to stop putting my CB on the passenger seat and put it underneath my seat instead. When I got this outside antenna for it, it helped with having better range also.

This atena will not work beyond 700 yards. Spend the menoney on a good one makes a huge difference.
