Q: How many mic stands can these fit?

It depend on what kind of stands. Tripods or round bases to start...but I can say it is very well built, holds a good amount of gear and the 2 handles make it easy to move the case in and out of vehicles. It's much better than any other 2 part trap case I have found or used.

Judging by the product dimensions for the shipping rate, the external dimensions are listed as 38.5 x 13.7 x 9.5 inches. This comes out to just under 62". I haven't measured the actual product, though.

it does have a rubber seal but it is not air or water tight
