Exactly what I was looking for: iPad Air
Very corny ad but a nice, solid product. It's amazing how expensive anything Apple related can be. This gives you more bang for your buck because you get a desk mount and floor mount. You screw off the flexible hose to switch from one to the other.I have an Air with no case so the adjustable arms don't sit quite flush. I'm still very happy with it. It would fit any iPad. Even a mini. You do have a lot of spare metal in your view the smaller and thinner the tablet.

Thread material flaw, defect design
The thread that holds the pole to the base broke that makes the stand useless. After checking the broken thread and found the hollow thread was made of sheet metal. The weight of the pole and the support with an iPad put too much strain on the hollow thread, and that caused the pole broke off from the base. The manufacturer is so cheap to cut the cost by using a hollow thread instead of a solid steel thread. Not recommend people to buy this product.

Don't even think about using an 8" tablet with this
The base of this is fine, and I like that you can adjust it. However, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AN 8" TABLET IN THIS THING. Seriously, plan on giving yourself 20 minutes and enlisting a friend if you ever have to take your tablet out and put it back in. Although it is technically made to fit both 8" and 10" tablets, it is really designed more for regular ipads. My 8" Kindle Fire is impossible to get in, and when I do get it in, half the time it falls out. One set of brackets is stationery, and the others you have to sort of push toward the tablet - really, really difficult to do; the tablet slips out repeadedly before you have a chance to tighten it - which is why you need another person to hold one side of it while you tighten the other brackets. It's a royal pain and causes me lots of stress!

Already had to fix it
I have already had to use super glue to re-attach the pole to the base where the threds have failed. They were loose to begin with BTW. I also have a round of duct tape on the top to keep gravity from slowly making the product droop. Having to rig a product only 30 days old is never a good sign.Design wise: The clips that hold the device in place work well but stick out unnessesarily, I have been considering trimming them with a drummel tool. While it would have been cheap to impliment, no one thought to run a USB extension cable up the middle of this product so I have wires hanging from it making it look cheap. All this said, given the available options, this still may be something worth buying as the choices suck or cost too much. It also looks pretty good overall and does the job after my rigs. Thus I am leaving it with a three star rating for the time being,

Good buy for my ipad
I have an ipad 1 and i wanted a stand that I would feel secure putting next to my bath tub. This stand is perfect for that. I do not worry my ipad will slip out or the stand will tip over, even if my dog were to bump into it. The company was supper nice and provided me with a English copy if the directions so I could put it together. The product is nice and tall, I think it's 5 feet tall or so, so I can use it next to my bed when I read. The mount is nice because it has paddig so it dows not scratch up my ipad. i think it would easily fit many types of reading devixes because you can adjust the size. and when they say 360 they mean it i can flip my screen to face diffrent directiins or spin it so it sits at an angle for good readig positin. The only thing that I wish was better about the product is the flexible part. While I can get it to the position I want it in it takes a little work because the part is stif. I'm hopeing over time it will become more mailable. But even if it doest it is a great product and worth the money.

good for retail
I got this for retail...perfect for mounting on shelf and it fit over the locking case we need for security. Seems sturdy so far. No instructions come with, but it's not too difficult to figure out.

IPad floor stand
Very sturdy tablet holder as a floor stand or headboard. I suggest English printed instructions to put together plus something to add thickness to thin tablets. Do buy this unit though!!!!
