like my previous collars
I was really excited about getting this collar because my previous one had batteries and it was such a pain to replace. I also couldn't use one remote for multiple collars, as I have two dogs. This system allows for that, has a decent range even through walls, and the noise activation beep is actually on the collar instead of on the remote, like my previous collars. So now I can just use the beep and my dogs will respond even if they are in the other room. Why I'm giving this collar two stars despite all these positives is that both the remote and the collars have a motion sensor in order, I'm guessing, to preserve battery power. The remote turns off too quickly and in order to use it again you have to push the main function button and then press the corresponding command. This is so obnoxious considering when I use it for behavior and sometimes they need immediate correction in the moment, not after five or ten seconds of me fumbling around to turn it on, turn the collar 1 or 2 function to the corresponding dog, and then find the corresponding response by pushing the mode button (shock, vibrate, sound, light). These badly designed collars are great for dogs that you just want to teach tricks, but for dogs with behavior problems that need quick and immediate commands/reminders, they are ridiculously designed. My previous collar, though having one remote per collar and running on batteries, was far more user friendly and had one button per command so I could immediately press the button for the desired response and that's it. I didn't have to fumble through multiple settings, risk accidentally commanding the wrong dog, or have to deal with the delay between behavior and my command.Another very, very obnoxious thing about this system, and the main reason for the two stars and why I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, is that the motion sensor on the collar, while good for preserving battery life between charges, only activates if the dog freaking moves forward or backward, not general movement. It's not sensitive enough to use for stationary dogs who, say, freaking bark incessantly while either in the crate or sitting on a chair and barking their heads off at every noise outside. The damn thing won't even turn on. I can press and press and press and it won't do anything. AT. ALL. So I'm left sitting there pressing buttons like a tool while my dogs keep barking and that's the ONLY reason I even bought the collars. The behavior training for other things, tricks and whatnot, was just an extra I do in order to get my full money's worth, but were not required in my critique of the collars. Don't waste your money. Adding the clumsy remote function with the lack of response from the collar unless actually moving a direction will make you want to run your face into a wall hanging covered in glass shards. I'm only using it because I spent the money and because I'm too lazy to send it back because meh. But I've been using my old collar more than this one and these as a replacement for those when I run out of batteries. For the money I'm sure there are way better systems out there. If any of them say anything about a motion senser on the actual collar, do NOT buy it. Totally useless feature. Also, the description on this system and even the instructions say the turned off remote can be activated by pressing any button to turn it on are untrue. You have to press the mode button and then mess with settings to get it to the right one. If you press the command button after it shut off it doesn't auto come on and do what you want, so that's extremely misleading. Also in the description it says that it fits dogs from 9 inches to something. I specifically bought this because it said it's for small dogs and that's a load of shiz as well. I have two shih tzus, one three and one 4 months. My 3 year old weighs 15 lbs and his puppy brother weighs about 9. It hangs off of the puppy and barely holds the receiver against the 3 year old. They have long fur but I keep them groomed, and even with the bulky fur after it grows out between groomings doesn't fit nearly tight enough to be effective. So with the static activation plus the fact that I only get reactions from them if they happen to be laying in a way that they're pressing against the receiver, they are virtually useless. Stupidest product I've used yet. The remote is also a cheap plastic you swear is going to snap, and the collars, when fully tightened, have the second strap side so loose that the receiver isn't supported on the neck and droops. I should have bought the better brand, but I was excited to read about something that had rechargeability and simultaneous functioning that I didn't read a ton of reviews like I usually do, and the ones I did read were those suck ones by people who are paid or given free product in exchange for their "unbiased" review. Such a joke.

Works great and perfect for odd shaped yards.
I live in a neighborhood where fences aren't allowed and the invisible fence won't work. This remote collar works great when you have an odd shaped yard. You do have to be outside with the dog to use it. My dog likes to Bolt after squirrels, birds, and other dogs, so this comes in handy trying to break that, or at least get him to come back. The vibration mode worked fantastic for the first few months. Unfortunately, he's a year old now and more stubborn now and on rare occasions I have to change to shock mode, but have never had to use more than the #1 level. I made sure to try it on myself (on my palm) before I would ever subject my dog to a shock. It's not too terribly bad, but i'm not big on using shock. Again, the vibration mode is really effective. I love that it has beep mode also. It does take a long time to recharge, so I have the second receiver as a stand by.

Love the separate collar setting adjustments and that they work with one controller. Odd for me to have to switch to activate 1 and 2 would be easier for 2 activate buttons but I'm not great with any controllers game ones included..lol.it would be great if the collars had different sounding beeps. You beep 1 and the other dog thinks they did something due to they have the same sound. but other than that and a couple minor personal things it's wonderful. .. Collar almost not big enough for our akita but would have been able to buy bigger one to fit so not a big deal...98lds double coat ... and just a tiny to big for puppy that is 15 week old German Shepard but just put a few twists in collar before clasping so again not a big problem at all.

Happy with purchase
Great training tool for my dogs. The hand remote is great with the backlight so I can easily see the collar number and level of correction. The collar receivers are a bit bulky and my dog can scratch in such a way to knock one side loose from the collar but I just keep my eye on them. The static correction is not strong at all. My dog will scratch her neck if I have to use it. So this is really just a good attention Grabber for poor behavior.

Sometimes she'll react and other times she doesn't even seem like we're doing anything
my little dog doesn't seem to respond as well to this as I had hoped. We purchased it in hopes to improve her behavior issues when it comes to other dogs. Sometimes she'll react and other times she doesn't even seem like we're doing anything. The fitting of this collar is a little too big for her so I had to substitute it for a smaller one. She's about 9 pounds-maltipoo.

Said would fit small dogs, I have two chihuahuas and they don't fit them, but have been able to make them work, since we only use the buzzer.

Two dogs . . . two remote controls!
This item is for two pets, however, it only has one remote control. My question to RopriPet is: If you are trying to train two dogs the same time, how in the world are you supposed to switch settings on the remote to accommodate two dogs? Two dogs . . . two remote controls!
