The turquoise was a little brighter than expected, but it's still very pretty. I bought two for our couch and unfortunately, they are very linty. I washed them in cold on gentle cycle and hung to dry as indicated. However, they had tons of lint and fuzz on them, so I decided to do a quick tumble as they were dry. The lint trap filled up with fuzz, yet they are still shedding something fierce. I don't know what to do as I want to use them, but don't want to be covered in lint every time I do.

I am highly allergic to wool, these are advertised as being cotton, which is why I bought TWO of these Throw Blankets, to cover my two living room chairs. After I put them on, I noticed my hands were a bit itchy but thought nothing of it.Then I sat in one chair that evening to read, and within 15 minutes I was itchy everywhere and lifted up the back of my shirt and had red splotches everywhere. I then realized it had to be the chair cover. I left one on a chair I rarely sit in and earlier today I mistakenly flopped down on that chair to read my mail. AGAIN it was no longer than 5 minutes that I sat there and was itching like crazy.These are either wool or acrylic, which I am very allergic to both!False advertising about the material could land someone with allergies, in the hospital!!!
