Clover Reflections Crochet Hook Set Large, Size K,L, and N, 3 Per Set

I purchased this set for the N hook that I needed to experiment with making a crocheted daily rug. Just before this was delivered I purchased an aluminum size N hook at the local walworld and had started my project. After trying both hooks I do prefer using this one for few reasons.Even though the shank or neck is short, it is long enough for me to do a bobble stitch, and that is quite enough for any purpose I will use it for. I don't contemplate any Tunisian projects in my future. The neck is slightly tapered toward the hook, which helps keep the loops expanded enough on the wider end so that pulling my yarn through all those loops on the bobble stitch is done with ease. Not so with the aluminum hook. Also, I have less trouble inserting the hook into chain stitches. I'm not sure if it is the shape of the hook or its smoothness that facilitates this better. And, this hook is just nicer to hold and work with and seems to prevent finger/hand fatigue from setting in as quickly.So far I really like them. The colors are pretty and they come in a very sturdy acrylic tube with a neat thick gasketed cap with color coordinated acrylic dots embedded it - a nice surprise.

I recently re-taught myself to crochet after a 30-ish year hiatus. My nonna used to use my childsized nimble fingers for crocheting her granny squares using teeth-grating acrylic in eye-numbing red, orange, green and black. I never knew my Italian grandmother was a closet Rastafarian. Now that I'm older, I tend to use natural fibers when I knit/crochet, but my 12 yo daughter sometimes prefers the acrylics (and more economical for kid craft). These crochet hooks handle all fibers well and don't squeak the way other hooks do when working acrylic yarn. They are playfully colorful (as a child of the 80's, their rainbow hues speak to me) and they are super comfortable to use - lightweight and ergonomic. They are my go-to hooks.

I have been waiting to get a set like this for a period of time. The larger sizes are not usually available like the smaller ones are so when I saw these, I grabbed them. LOVE the colors also, my favorite! Have lots of crocheting to do in the bulkier yarns and these will help immensely. Would I rather they be like their relative the clover soft touch? yes, but these are NOT soft touch, but just as good being in a large size. I've also bought the reflections smaller hooks, which many don't realize are available. I'd rather have the soft touch hooks in the smaller size. Since they are not available past a J I LOVE these larger reflections crochet hooks.

I now have size F thru N in this brand. Most of them are a tan color so this new set in pastel colors are a really nice addition! The hooks are great quality. The wide grips help me keep a looser grip when I crochet, and by limiting the amount of hook length that can be used, my stitchs are more consistent.

I haven't used these crochet hooks but I have inspected them. They were purchased for my granddaughter and I'm sure she will enjoy learning to crochrt with them.

Just purchased the K,N, & L colorful hooks, because the smaller hooks are so nice to work with. Easy on the hands, but the materialsused in the larger hooks is acrylic, not aluminum like the smaller hooks. Shape of the handle is the same, but acrylic hooks don't glide through yarn like aluminum. Price was a little excessive for these hooks, you can buy a set of L,M,N & P acrylic hooks for $4.99 from Darice. Not worth the price paid.

I liked the variety of the hook sizes and the case is useful. They work well with the chunky yarn.

Jetzt ist meine Clover-Häkelnadel-Sammlung komplett. Ich möchte nie mehr mit anderen Nadeln häkeln!! Keine Ermüdung der Handgelenke mehr, die Finger verkrampfen nicht bei enger zu häkelnden Stücken und die Nadeln gleiten immer wie heiße Messer durch Butter ohne die Fäden zu teilen. Ich bin zur überzeugten Clover-Häklerin geworden!
