Love that you can make this kid friendly and it is so easy to set up and is made durable enough for children.
I received the SmartStick 2 with Kid Zone Streaming and found that it comes very well packaged and shipped fast. The product comes with the Smartstick, USB and HD Cable, Remote, power adapter, and manual. It has two USB ports one on the stick and one on the cable. The product is durable and easy to install as you just plug it in to the ports and it is ready to go. I did not use the remote but used it with my wireless mouse and just had to connect it up to my wifi. You have the opening kids screen that comes up and with a password you can get to the parental screens where you can download apps, settings and more. It is very simple to use and if you are familiar with Kodi than you should not have a problem with its use as it is comparable to most of the other android tv sticks out there. It is still a little choppy in parts but as far as I am concerned they all are a little cumbersome and most of the trouble lies in the internet speed. We used it for our granddaughter who loves YouTube videos and Netflix and they both work great with this device. We love the ability to keep her from adult apps or going to places she shouldn't and can only use what we put on her screen. Then from there we have her parental controls set on the apps themselves like on Netflix. She can also have other kid friendly apps and there is nothing she can click on in error and is not age appropriate. Overall, I find the SmartStick 2 wonderful and easy to set up. The kids will take some time to learn to use the device, but they catch on faster than we do. This is a nice product and recommend it to anyone who is familiar with using this type of device and can set up the needed applications. I have Kodi Android TV already and this works just about the same and so I had no problems with it.Update: I wanted to have better user interface for my SmartStick and the FAVI FE02RF-BL Mini 2.4GHz Wireless PC / Tablet Keyboard Designed for SmartStick was the answer. It has a long battery life, smooth connectivity, and easy to set up with drivers auto loaded. The keyboard is really wonderful and goes great with the SmartStick. You can use it for most of your other devices also and there is even presentation control like a laser pointer and slide buttons. There is the hotkeys on the keyboard for android like home, menu, back, and search and there is media controls. This is so much nicer to use with the Smartstick and a great way to navigate its user interface.**I received this product for free or deeply discounted for a honest, unbiased review.
