OXO Good Grips 2-Piece Tong Set, Silver

Great quality tongs!! Love the fact they come as a pair and can be kept closed - don’t get stuck when trying to open the cutlery drawer.

Previously bought cheaper versions of these (not OXO) and the springs and pins at the joint didn't last long - even ended up with a metal hinge pin 'pinging' off and into daughter in-laws food! Nearly chipped a tooth! Don't cheap out, buy these - they're from OXO - so you know they're going to be good. No pin/hinge/spring issues so far, feel much higher quality than others and the non-rubber ends have a premium finish. Would not advise to use on non-stick surfaces though - buy the OXO tongs with the rubber ends as well for those so you don't scratch the non-stick.

These were bought on behalf of someone else after a glowing recommendation from me. I use one or both pairs of these tongs on a daily basis - they are both sturdy and really good sizes. They are much easier to use than other longer tongs I have had. They are also easy to store and stay in the locked position when not in use. Another excellent product from the Oxo range.

Nice to use on hob cooking or on barbecue. Metal grips mean no chance of melted silicone

Often we look at the price and buy a cheaper product first, thinking that we are saving money. Perhaps we are but after using a better quality product realise that the extra cost for a quality brand and product is worth it.So I managed with cheap flimsy tongs for years till I tried my son's quality OXO. And just bought 2 pairs.No regrets.

As usual with the oxo brand these food tongs are very well made and very comfortable to use.

I have found that I use them to remove raw chicken from the packaging. And they work really well.I've bought more of them as gifts.
