Best Neck Pickup - Super Warm Cleans and Tubey Overdrives
I've been playing guitar for close to 20 years, and this is the best neck pickup I've ever used. I've had it in an Alder Body Jackson Dinky and just installed another one in a Basswood body Ibanez Iceman (both of them had Maple Necks with Rosewood Fretboards.)Tonally, the LiquiFire is warm and tubey. Very Articulate with such a warm sound through all of my amps and processors (Marshall, Vox, and Line 6.)Key words to describe this pickup are warm and articulate.

Great Neck Pickup
This pickup has some amazing tonal qualities. It has this "tubey" sound that I really like, but it has amazing clarity. I would highly recommend this be coupled with a DActivator. Great pickups.

This is a pretty nice pickup
This is a pretty nice pickup, i'm not sure it's the best neck pickup i've ever tried. (although I haven't tried many) I have tried the Dimarzio D-activator neck, and a Mo Joe (which is actually a bridge pickup).. out of all these three, surprisingly I like the Moe Joe in the neck the best. But since this is a review for the Liquifre, I will start by saying this pickup is really really warm sounding. In the wrong guitar it can sound way way too fat and super warm/bassy sounding. Maybe this is a good thing for some people? I was able to get this pickup on sale so I went for it with out really thinking, first thing I did when I got it was install it into my Les Paul Custom Black Beauty(mahogany body), I tried my best to like it, It didn't sound too bad, even though it was massively thick and dark sounding, it still retained some clarity, but it just didn't work for me... Something about Les Paul style bodies that just don't work super well with this pickup, I guess its the pickup position/length of the bodies and type of woods? I'm not an expert when it comes to that, but I know that it wasn't a good fit for my Les Paul. I took it out and put it into my Schecter Omen 6(basswood body), and its much better. The best way to describe this pickup is smooth, warm, and round. With distortion its really warm and round sounding, good for warm thick sounding leads. On clean settings it's still warm and smooth with out being muddy, coil tapped sounds really really nice. It's a good pickup overall, but I do kind of feel like it's hard to dial out some of that warm/bassy feel. I usually like more of a brighter sounding pickup with a cleaner much more well rounded sound. So for that it's not my favorite pickup, but it is still a really nice one. Especially if it fits your style of music and your guitar type

Covers its bases
This pickup can draw nice round tones out of the neck position. But it also slides easily into a smooth buzz when distortion is required. A very versatile pickup.
