Our old canopy got mangled in the wind. We weren't sure about this one but thought we'd try it. The upper vent works as stated in the description allowing the wind to pass through. Others complain about the canopy not being water PROOF because of the drain grommets provided allowing any accumulation of water to drain off. Well, it's not a big deal. I'd rather have a means for the water to drain, than to sit there accumulating, adding weight to the cover and eventual collapse. The difference in temp between underneath the canopy or outside it is substantial. Living in the mountains of CO our temps may not get into the 90s, but the intensity of the sun is much greater than lower elevations. The canopy provides great protection. We have set it up for gatherings and to provide shade while pouring concrete. The rolling storage bag is a plus because the canopy is heavy. I definitely recommend this product.

I have used this item at two community events with our Scout Troop and plan on taking along to a week of summer camp in a month. I appreciate the easy assembly and wind resistance of the unit. It has also handled heavy rains extremely well. We are impressed!!

Baught this to provide shade in our back yard. At up was fairly simple (easy 2 person job), not as simple as a standard pop-up tent. During the initial install, 2 of the ground stakes broke. Luckily a have bunch from other items I already own. After about a month the included tie down line completely disintegrated (turned into little puffs of white material blown all over our backyard). Not a problem, replaced them with some nylon cord from HD. A little over 3 months I noticed that the canopy was starting to rip too. Now a couple of weeks later I've taken it down before the winds start and notice that the canopy is dropping in the middle (not at a seem) and the whole thing feels supper brittle like the whole thing is about to fall apart. Good thing I got the extended warranty and can at least get some of my money back. After posting this review, the Cooshade reached out and sent a completely new canopy tent! Wow, thanks!

Cheaply made. We were at a softball tournament and the tent blew away with stakes in the ground! The tent ripped apart
