Q: electric stove or gas?

I use it on an electric stove too, not sure about gas

Q: In the description it states this Whirley pop is barn red.. Are you getting a red Whirley pop or the original aluminum one?

Flat red on the outside- aluminum on the inside. We loooove it!!!! We also love the Wabash popcorn products!

Q: How big is the popper? How many does it feed?

The diameter of the popper is 9.75". The height is 6" plus another 1.5" for the crank mechanism on the top. The overall length including the handle is 17.5". The popper can pop up to 1/2 cup of kernels at a time. This may vary depending on the quality and size of your kernels. As far as how many does it feed, that depends on your appetite. My husband and I will share 1 pot of popped corn. One of the popcorn brands that I use suggests that 1/2 cup of kernels makes approximately 10 cups. The Whirley Pop will pop just about every kernel if you follow the instructions. Their website also has a how-to video that shows turning the crank very slowly during the popping process which I found counter intuitive but it does the job.
