Excellent Product BUT I Never Wrote The Original Review That Was Posted!!!
Went to write a (very good) review for this product only to find someone, somehow had already written a review using my name that was so wildly over the top that it must have been done by someone paid to do so. Seems like more and more of both the 1 & 5 star reviews posted are bogus. 5 star reviews posted, in different names, but using identical 2 sentence descriptions. Or 1 star reviews by people who never actually bought the product but trash it based on things they read or heard from others. My favorite ratings farse is for the Google Pixel. 97% of all the 4 & 5 star reviews were written by verified buyers. Conversely, tho there were more 1 star reviewers listed than 2, 3 ,4 & 5 stars combined, fewer than 16% of all the one star reviews were verified. Best yet, 50% of all the 1 stars reviews were from people complaining that they would never buy a Pixel because it was too expensive. How can you determine a product's value if you never bought it or actually used it. Shame on you Amazon for allowing this to happen. Shouldn't all the reviews you allow to be posted be based on verified product purchases?

This one didn't control the volume...
I had ordered one of these previously and it worked perfectly. All controls worked with my S7 Edge. Accidentally rolled over it with a chair and broke open the control unit. I was able to squash it back together and it still works but I figured I'd just get a new one and keep that as a spare if I needed it. The new one I just received doesn't control the volume. Sounds fine and the play/pause/FF/RW works, but no volume control. I went to my previous order and clicked the same link for the product listing to buy a new one. Not sure if i got a dud or what. Amazon is sending me a new one so if this one controls everything correctly, I'll chalk it up to a faulty product on-off and adjust my review. The first one i got should be rated at 6 stars since it still works even after squashing the control unit :-D.UPDATE: Just received the replacement and it also doesn't control the volume. Not sure what changed from the first time I ordered this product, but it doesn't work as advertised any more.

Beats Solo 2 Wireless not fully supported - STILL even after replacement
I bought this to replace my OEM audio cable for my Beats SOLO 2 Wireless headphones, but these don’t do volume control. The control button works to pause/play/engage Siri, the microphone works, the sound is good, but the volume up and down buttons don’t work. The only reason I’m not giving this a 1 Star is because the control button and mic work.UPDATE: So, Monoy was kind enough to send me a replacement cable at no cost and with no cajoling. Good on Monoy. I appreciate that level of customer service. I am, however, leaving my review for this product at 2-stars because the replacement cable I received STILL does not adjust volume. This product simply isn't compatible with the Beats Solo 2 Wireless headphones, case closed. If you are looking for a replacement cable for the Beats Solo 2 Wireless product, look elsewhere.

Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones WH1000XM2 and XBOX
I bought 5 different cables including these to try with my Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones WH1000XM2 Over Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones trying to see if I could make them work with my XBOX. These work the best. Just wanted to write this to help other people. So you wouldn’t have to do what I did

Good sound but quality issues
The sound and mic on this product is adequate for my purposes. The issue for me is quality, the cover for the volume control falls off (& in my case got lost), which makes the volume controls useless.People heard me ok during phone calls and I don't get any feedback when listening to music. I received the cable on 4/5 and it broke 4/17 and is not eligible for return. It's working with some electrical tape (no volume controls) but i guess it is better than nothing.

Looks nice but fell apart at volume control and stopped working after a only a third use.
Nice cable at first, arrived fast, but the volume/mic assembly failed and fell apart after about 3 uses. I keep my phones/cables in a zipped up case, so it was hardly stressed. It fell apart at the beginning of a 14 hour trans-pacific flight, rendering my nice Audio Technica noise cancelling headphones pretty useless for the duration. Had high hopes this cable would last 2 years like my original, but alas, 2 months is all I got from this cable.

Purchased Multiple Times but Continues to Break :(
I've purchased 5 pairs of these now, and the sound control button continues to pop off. I'm usually able to pop the red circle back in and connect but cannot control volume. Several pairs have stopped working alltogether. I use these while snowboarding because of the large size of the volume/ song change control but have continued to have issues. I've tried hard to make these work but they just don't, and now they will not allow access to make changes with the new iphone due to the fact that the phone requires an adaptor (not a fault of the design or build of this product, just a downside).

the seller says the replacement is better than the OEM Beats cord
Not campatible with Beats EP as advertised. Sent pics to the seller to prove it, but even after being presented with photographic evidence of incompatibility, the seller says the replacement is better than the OEM Beats cord. Fact check: False.
