Castles

This book keeps us busy looking for the royal families, again and again, because we always miss some. Great fun! And I love the little stories about the castles too!

I have read this book several times with a diverse range of students and they've all enjoyed it with me. It's a great way to reach more reluctant or shy students by engaging their imagination and getting them guessing what might be on the next page. Lots of "oohs" and "aaahs" :) LOTS of visual appeal through Colin Thompson's fantastical illustrations. You won't regret your purchase!

Oh my gosh; we LOVE this book. My son (9) and I love other Colin Thompson books and were excited to see that there was one we hadn't read yet. It was different from "how to live forever" (our favorite) but is still very cool and fun to look at. Every page has a new magical scene to explore. You can look at this book for hours and not get tired of it.
