One of the Better freeze dried biscuits n gravy I've ever tried.
I don't say that lightly. I am a biscuits n gravy SNOB. Good old redneck cattle rancher ex military that's me! And I LOVE Biscuits n gravy! Especially with a little kick from chili powder (Thank you Grandma Arbuckle form the Garfield comics) Before I tried this one Mountain Home sausage biscuits n gravy was top of the list ... but it was in the category Eh... not bad not great just OK. This one Well it passes not bad substitute for fresh and jumps into the tasty and comparable category. Now NOTHING will beat made fresh but if you want a quick and does not Suck version of freeze dried biscuits n Gravy I recommend this with a little salted butter and some pepper it's almost as good.

upgrading my review
So, says there are two servings. There were 2 small biscuits about twice the size of my first digit of my thumb. Whole, and freeze dried. They were like little concrete pieces. They were not broken up, but whole. Letting them soak in the boiling water i added for 15 minutes didn't soften them up at all. Just the first couple millimeters of the biscuit got soft enough to eat. To eat this effectively, you have to remove the contents, have a hammer, break them up on something sanitary, put them back in a container with hot water to rehydrate. Other freeze dried biscuits and gravy meals are so much better. Mountain house comes to mind.So I did and update to my review, and it didn't seem to take. ill try again. Ordered 2 pouches, first one had two tiny full buiscuits stuck together. Second pouch had much more biscuit, kinda broken up in to 1.5 inch bits, but had like 3 times the biscuit first one had. Also, seemed to have a lot more gravy in it. First one was basically crumbled sausage and 2 small hard biscuits. But the second one was much better. Also had a smaller oxygen absorber. Honestly, the meals looked like they came from 2 different manufacturers. I was at home for the second pouch. Took my garlic hammer to the pouch and crumbled the biscuits. Pouch was tough enough, there were no leaks. Meal was great after that, and biscuit got soft unlke the first pouch.

Biscuits
This product is good, would be nice if did not have to pull biscuits out to brake up before adding the hot water. So I think I did not brake up small enough so some of mine were still hard.

Really good on a cold trip.
Really good on a cold trip. I got these to eat on a cold weather hunt and really enjoyed having a nice warm meal while in a goose blind.
