Upon first use it worked great but after that first day every time I try to use it it is very very dim and shows no activity at all unless touching with your whole hand

This plasma ball actually turned out to be larger than expected. The sphere is glass while the base is plastic. You can set it to respond to touch or to music. I found for music you might have to play around with the distance between the ball and the music source. It responds to drum and bass sounds best and will blink on and off to them if positioned just right. It’s not quite the same as the ones I remember playing with at the mall, but close enough to still be fun and add a neat aesthetic to a room. The only thing I would change is the big “Yunni” logo on the front that cheapens the look of the item.

Super cool, but shuts off after 30 seconds and won’t turn back on.
