The Shadow Knight: 1 (A Shadow Knight Novel) Paperback – Import, 18 July 2016

Good book, nice follow up to his previous trilogy however this book had a noticeable number of spelling/grammatical errors that distracted as you read. Great bones, just could use a good proofread and edits to further improve.

Bought this book in 2016. Read it then liked it. Was looking for something to read and started reading it again. I liked it just as much as I did the first time I read it. I have read hundreds of books if not thousands. Not all are good, not all are great. This on the verge of greatness. I'd like to see more of these characters in action.

I really enjoyed this book. I have read the series before this. It was helpful like the author said. They mention the past and they do run into some of them. I liked reading what happened to Jonas. I can't wait till the next book. I will definitely be reading the next book.

I loved the first two books in the cavalier trilogy. They were really great, edge of your seat books. If you haven't read them then you need to go back and do so. The third book and this one are OK, I probably feel that way because of how much I loved the first two books. The only thing that I dislike about this book is the lack of character development with Jonas. I would really like to see him continue to gain power so that he can fight bigger and badder enemies. I would also like to see him grow as a person. Other than that small complaint though, this was an enjoyable read. It was a fun story with new characters, characters that I enjoyed getting to know. If you've read the Cavalier trilogy then pick this up, it's a good continuation.

Good story, nice to have a familiar character back, be interesting to see how he develops...hope to maybe see other familiar characters in subsequent hooks, maybe a certain bladesinger? Good book, recommend it especially if u enjoyed Cavalier series
