Ultimate Chrome Shower Valve Trim Kit by Mixet

After calling a plumber, it was impossible to affix the trim kit to work properly, as Mixet compatible parts will not work with Mixet fixtures. The consumer is left with the replacing Mixet trim products with the hideously ugly Mixet trim. So it was a total waste of time and money. I don't charge this error to the seller, but the configuration of the Mixet compatible products themselves.

The material seems a little cheap. A similar one was a lot less expensive at Home Depot, but I wanted something nice and not the basic model in the store. I paid twice as much for something very comparable to what I could have gotten in the store.

Not as sturdy as it looks. Its way better than the old antique one I had.

My house was built in the 80's and unfortunately my bathrooms look like it. Thank goodness I found this fixture! It fits perfectly, as it should, and replaces my old Mixet fixtures with something shiny, new, and updated.The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars is that this fixture is plastic, so it's not quite as solid-feeling as I'd like it to be. Even so, it looks great and is permanently water proof (since it's plastic and all). It also helps that it looks like metal which makes the whole shower look 20 years better!If you have a Mixet fixture and you're looking for a simple fix, DEFINITELY get this fixture and start liking your shower/tub again.
