Pedifix Toe Comb Toe Separators - Pack of 12 Model # P8230

I need these for my hammer toes. Unfortunately, they fall apart sometimes within a week. Poorly made and disappointing. The ones I usually bought for years are now made either by this company or, at best, out of the same crumby material. Sad...but that is how these toe combs fall apart.

These toe comb cushions have the name "PediFix" on them but they are NOT an actual Pedifix product. I spoke with a PediFix representative on October 7, 2021. She said PediFix has been having trouble finding the foam needed to produce their toe comb cushions and PediFix has been out of them for months. This product sold on Amazon is highly inferior to the actual PediFix product.

They are trash! I have been buying these toe separators top picture is more than a year old) for ten years and rarely found a problem. The new ones are absolutely a disaster. The material is like tissue paper abd the slightest tug tears them apart (bottom picture). It’s maddening!

Much better than individual separators, which always get displaced on me. Easily visible even with diminished vision, as opposed to the silicone sleeve type. No lanolin or other softening agent, for which I'm glad - wearing that kind of thing every day macerates my skin. And since I have two places on the same foot that need padded, this takes care of both. These are very comfortable to wear, seem reasonably durable, and I wish I had tried them years ago and saved a lot of frustration! Update: 3/26/20: been wearing one of these 24/7 for eight weeks now and it's as good as new. Toes staying moderately separated night and day. Foam has not gotten permanently compressed, is comfy, fits in my shoes easily, does not trap moisture between my toes. Still terrific! Addendum: 4/26 it's almost May, so I have now been wearing my first "comb" daily for 3 solid months. Except for a little fading of color, it's as good as new. Not compressed, not smelly, doing its job. So comfortable I forget it's on my foot. To me, this is the best thing since sliced bread.

I had to return these as the foam on both ends broke because they used ultra cheap foam. I have others that don't have this problem and you can see the difference in the foam used. The good ones have thicker closer cell foam which doesn't break apart like these.
